Hacking How can I transfer data from my Old 3DS to my New 2DS XL without carrying over its ban?

Hello and Happy holidays all,

I just bought myself a New 2DS XL and I'm wondering how I can transfer all of my data from my old 3DS to my New 2DS XL without carrying over the ban that it has.

My old 3ds is using a public friend code seed, I changed its serial number, and I injected a blank nnidsave.bin.

The challenge is: I want to transfer all the games, saves, DLC, friends in my Friend List, and link my NNID to my New 2DS while leaving the ban behind on my old 3DS. Will this be possible using the System Transfer feature or will I have to manually move everything over? I haven't installed B9S nor Luma on my new 2DS XL but I'm planning on doing it today.

I'm also willing to manually dump my saves and games and reinstall them all on my New 2DS if that would have to be the case. But I don't know how I will be able to transfer my Friends List to my New 2DS XL.

The friend code seed belongs to the console not the account, so you can transfer over with no worries.

Thanks for the info, and do you think it would be a good idea to inject the friend code seed from my new 2DS XL into my old 3DS before the system transfer, just in case someone out there gets the Public friend code seed banned during the process?

It won’t matter unless you want to play online before the transfer and the seed gets banned in that small window of time. You could just wait to see if it does get banned in the future and then copy the seed over then (before or after the transfer).
