Hacking Pokemon Ultra Son/Moon Problem with Gateway ?

the game loads but it gets stuck at the beginning as well. but this time it said "Preparing game save and game please wait dont turn off 3ds.

Are you using a version of the game patched to support an older emuNAND? Gateway is no longer recommended since it seems to be perpetually stuck on an 11.2 emuNAND.

im playing it without a problem in Gateway Mode. (B9S with Gateway FrankenFW 11.6)
What system did you use O3DS /New3DS? B9S + Luma/Gateway or the Gateway Boot thing ?

normal europe version, i think not patched.

Using a CFW like Luma let you update to the last FW without a problem ^^
Gateway is only have an easyer Cheat system and you can use .3ds Roms but if you not use it then better change to a CFW and using CIAs to install the games directly.
Have you A9LH / B9S or how do you enter the Gateway Mode?

No problems here and I'm even on 9.2 somehow.

i ca play pokemon moon/sun no problem [cia version] (that game need version 11?)

but can you play "ultra" pokemon on ver 9.2?

i use the profile hack on old 3ds (ver. 4.5)

last year i tested the cfw rxTools (but good for decrypting 3ds games!) but verry buggy... i back to original gateway.

CFW has evolved a lot since rxTools. Get up to date with Luma and check out FreeShop for managing your games instead, and you'll never go back.

Did you use their card1 patch, some games like sun/ moon and ultra sun/ultra moon need this save data patch in order to work

To be honest Gateway is great for their blazing fast loading times compared to CIA and Freeshop. I don’t own a gateway but this is true from what i can tell.

You don't own gateway 3ds, but you still say that?
also no, it's not faster then running the game as .cia version (at least if you have good micro SD card).

I meant installing not running. Installing a large CIA takes around 15min to an hour...

You dont need to install a .3ds file onto a Gateway to play it.

Sure, but you need to download them from external sites and forced to see ads I order to see the link and turn off ad block plus for some sites.
But yah, copying a .3ds file to gateway is faster.

Good point, once I tried to download a game from *snip* and i had to turn off my antivirus and adblock and wait for like 3 adfly links chained one by one.

Sorry I have missed your reply. Yes I can play it perfectly fine in the first try.
I'm using a rom btw. It is more easier to use cheats.

It's not easy as .3ds to .cia, but why you do that?
Why download the .cia version instead of downloading .3ds? That defeats the purpose of the speed thing (download from PC and copy to SD card).
You mean download the .cia file from a PC program like freeshop but on PC then convert them to .3ds?

because you can get the cia using ciangel or so to bypass the ads thingy that you need and its easier to get, converting to .3ds is very very easy, the hackpack made by ASIA81 is very good for that purpose

as mentioned on another post, use card1to2 to convert the rom and it will work on gateway.
