ROM Hack USUM IPS Patches

I know that. I've used the Sun-specific patches, and put the combined patch in sd:\luma\titles\00040000001B5000\

I even did a file comparison on the US/UM patches, so I can clearly see they're different. We thought that maybe the save data, having originally been from UM, was to blame, but I've just eliminated that possibility.

At this point, I don't know what else could be the problem.

Yes, I have tried with only the QR inject patch, and it still crashes.

And just so we're 100% certain that we're talking the same UltraSun QR injection patch, the first difference comes at offset 0036, with a value of 23 instead of 24, correct? This is what came from the US zip file.

The other relevant information:

o3DS, running system menu 11.6 and Luma 8.1.1 CFW (up to date).

For all it's worth, I have been using the US QR code scanner together with a bunch of other patches, and it works fine without crashes.
Maybe it's what you are trying to scan? Could you share a screenshot or some info, please? Maybe that could help understanding your problem.

if someone could open an issue on luma's github repo would be great. since it's luma's bug that causes the crash with exp and battle cro...

when i remove the code.ips things like this dont happen also people walk through each other and many other cut scene issues is this normal or something i can fix

You're using the movement speed increase. That's completely normal. You can't "fix" it without changing the code.ips to not have that cheat in it or disabling game patching entirely in Luma.

Cutscenes in Pokémon are heavily scripted. The camera doesn't follow the characters—it's locked in specific spots. Characters are moving faster than the game intends them to, so they're ending up in weird positions, like inside each other, and the result with the original camera angle makes things even more comical.

Also, assuming you're on the latest version of Luma, consider taking screenshots from the system via the Rosalina menu, which can be accessed by default using L+Down+Select.

Shown above is the QR code I'm trying to scan (it's basically a way to quickly get the poké pelago upgrades knocked out quickly). But any other PKHeX QR code also crashes the game too, so...
 
Because SciresM's patch only works with UM not US

It works with US, if we're talking about number 12 in the OP's list of ips patches, I never had an issue with it on USUM.

Clear something up as I'm confused, Inverse Type is basically all battles are under Inverse rules?

Yup, Inverse battles aren't found in the games, it's event-only rule set for VGC. So I made one for both games.

Any chance for a patch that makes Festival Fans' ranks match yours on Battle Agency so their mons actually match your level? Having them stuck on lv 50 forever as you rank up pretty much ruins the facility.
 
So, I went into Luma settings and checked 'Disable ARM11 Exception Handler', and I don't crash when the Mew code listed previously code is scanned... but it shows up as an Azurill, and it acts like 'normal', like there's no patches running at all.

OK, that's weird as hell. Could you upload the pk7, if possible?
EDIT: @SRKTiberious I tried scanning that Mew code, and it crashed my console with luma error, so it must be an issue on your side with pkhex, that can't be seen with the qr code. Please upload the pk7.

It is possible to have a patch to have access to all ultra spaces in one version ?
