Theoretically it'd support the max site exFat would support. Via USB on the PSTV, the Vita has been known to work with most 1TB HDD, some 2TB hdds, and I've seen one or two people say 3TB works, so I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't.

In practice, however, I'm not aware of anyone buying one and trying it. If you do buy one, be aware that there's a possibility it might not work. Most I've seen is 256GB, so my guess would be it'd work just fine.

Sure, you just reformat it.
ok dam i ve a lot of hassles with the consoles i own :D.
so you guess the zzblank thingy is only on the card after formatting it once?
i thought the sd card needs to be reformatted after putting the zzblank thing on it in order to work ?

USBMC does all of the work for you. The only thing you need to do is format it in FAT32 or exFat.

If you need extra storage, remember you can still use your Vita memory card for some things.

I have a 200GB MicroSD card set as ux0. This is the main card. Vita games have to be installed to this so I use this for Vita games exclusively.
I also have a 64GB Vita memory card, which I have set as uma0 (i.e. secondary card). This can only be used by homebrew that can detect the second card, so I use it to store roms for Retroarch as well as PSP and PS1 games for Adrenaline.

Some emulators such as uae4all and mgba only detect the main memory card, so those roms go on the 200GB. Otherwise, the 64GB is my retro rom card.

yifans original USBMC has nothing to do with the SD2Vita itself, it's for PSVSD on 3g Vita's and USB drives on the PSTV.

@OP, you run the zz_blank.img, and then format it to exFat or FAT32 or whatever you like. exFat is the preferred.
