Wasnt really sure where to ask this, but it would be of much help if there is a way, easy or somewhat kind of easily understanable at for a "common" guy. Need to block or at least redirect certain websites to blank pages or anything, and opendsn or other sevices arent an option since they are quite obvious to tell people you are using them :/

Thanks.

Why do you want to use dns for this? It's easy to bypass by just using the IP address of the website instead of the domain name, or just using a different dns server...

Why not use a firewall?

If you have a good router you can block these domains or ips as mentioned above. If you don't, you might be able to put a custom firmware on your router such as ddwrt and block it via dnsmasq.

A firewall can filter network traffic from any device connected to it.

how do you do that? fot example, how do i redirect youtube to another website or to a blank page?

thanks in advance.
Depends on what router you have. If there's a custom firmware like dd-wrt or openvrt for it, you could flash one of those.

What kind of router do you have? Many can do this without installing a custom firmware.
hard to explain, but it's an arris router (one of white ones with three green lights, where the phone mark flashes red) but the problem is that the router settings page is designed by the internet provider, and it's even harde to explain since these internet providers are only for our country xd

But i guess the router settings should include and option for that dns stuff that the other guy said, to redirect the dns queries to 0.0.0.0 or block a certain website by knowing its ip direction?
