ROM Hack Luma3DS breaks smash bros

So I tried to play smash bros (without loading any hacks) and I got an error as soon as opened the game:

"An error occurred (ErrDisp)
Error type: generic
Process ID: 15
Process name: menu
Process title ID: 0x0004003000009802

Address: 0x002294c0
Error code: 0xc8804497"

Luna version is 8.0
System version: 11.6.0-39E

Anyone know what the problem might be or how to fix it?

Update luma to 8.1
If using smash selector use it then press disable to disable to hacks.

Comment back if it works or not.

Despite updating luma (to the newest version), the same error occurs.

After some research it seems to me that you need to delete home menu extra data. Google is your friend here. It'll then refresh your home menu and should work.
