Hardware Splatoon or Mario Odyssey Switch?

I've been set on buying a Switch for a while now, however I wanted to see what Black Friday sales are and if any of them feature discounts for the Switch price. However every major retailer has announced their deals, except for Gamestop, and none of them have any sales for the Switch Console. So between the Splatoon 2 switch bundle and the Mario Odyssey switch bundle, which one do you think I should go with? I'm not interested in hacking my Switch at the moment, and my Walmart has them both in Stock still. Personally I'm more interested in the design of the Mario odyssey switch, but I would rather have the physical version of odyssey, and the Splatoon one seems rarer and I'd rather have the digital version of Splatoon. I'm totally 50/50 right now, so any advice one way or another is appreciated. Also, if you saw any Switch deals I didn't, let me know.

I'm in the same boat but I don't like the bright colors of either the neon or Splatoon versions. They would just look so out of place with the rest of my gear. I'm on the fence between the gray or Mario versions. Does anyone know if all gray models purchased at this point would have the "fixed" version of the left Joy-Con? Or it it possible there's still old stock at online places like Walmart and Amazon? Unfortunately I don't think there are any good Black Friday deals for us but I'm going to hold off and see.

Who cares? You have to pay for both games anyway, right? They aren't really bundled. So all that matters is the design of the console.

I'd go for the SMO bundle. The Red Joycons look nice and aren't mismatched colors like the Splat2n bundle.

No, not all joycon issues are fixed in the grey ones. I got mine on Amazon the week before Odyssey launched. The problem is the right joycon for me but it does disconnect if I let it be blocked by my body.

Color -> does not matter. Aliexpress has enough sleeks that you can put around your Joy-cons that cost at max 2 dollar.
Digital copies all the way! The first annoying thing that you will notice is that you need to change games on cardridge.
Problem here is that I always need to get up, walk to my game cabinet and switch the switch game. If you have everything
digital you can just pres the Home button and choose another game. Only downside is that you can not sell the Switch with
loose games, or you cannot trade a game.
Oh and for the games: choose Mario! Splatoon is really boring.

I'm getting Odyssey either way, it's just a matter of whether I get the physical version or the digital version that comes with the bundle.

First you should really base it on the Controllers/Case that you most like as that is $100 alone and would cost more if you feel like switching them out.

So if you like the Mario Red colors and Case then this is what i would do:

1. Get the Mario Odyseey Bundle.
2. Buy Splatoon Digital like you want.

3a. Sell the Code for Mario to a friend or on Ebay and use that money to help pay off Mario Physical.
3b. If Mario is automatically tied to the system (not sure), Buy Mario when its a bit cheaper or when you have the money to and just enjoy the game digitally in the meantime.
Its not like Mario is gonna go out of stock. lol

I got the Splatoon bundle, but now I'd go for the Odyssey one if I had the choice. The Red Joy-cons are my favourite .

splatoon is an online team based shooter(has campagn but it sucks), if u like PVP then splatoon, if tc just wanna relax some colourful and cheerful adventure, i would like recommend Mario odyssey!

It should be just like the splatoon bundle and have a download code that comes with it. It shouldn't be tied to the system.
