I took the hashes right before upload, I'll double check and make corrections when I get home.
Hi,
When uploading and downloading files, there are failures in the transfer of data files.
To get the whole file without damage, USENET uses PAR2 files to protect data for these problems.
PAR2 can do file verification, error detection, correction and recovery, copy errors, download errors, software errors, hardware errors, virus infection, malicious tampering, and all other forms of data corruption.
PAR2 files can be created using multipar or quickpar.
For more information, see wikipedia Parchive.

I took the hashes right before upload, I'll double check and make corrections when I get home.
On doublechecking it seems it's only the filesizes in the hashes.txt which are incorrect:

Name: medicat.17.10.stable.iso
Date: 10/22/2017
Size: 11 GB (3,692,138,496 bytes)

For my it's this:

12,3 GB (12282073088 bytes)

Hello,

everything's booting find however, in the minWin I can't find from where to open portable apps like in the previous versions... I can't even see the USB drive in windows explorer... Have you integrated somehow to be shown in All Programs, that's why I don't find it?

There's a shortcut on the Startup folder of the start menu that points to Y:/Start.exe, and that should be opening upon boot up. Is it not opening the PortableApps menu for you?

Or perhaps you grabbed a NAKED build?

Hi Jayro,

Thanks for sharing this new version of MediCat.

Just to let you know that I downloaded all the files and they match the hashes you have on the text file except for mini.windows.10.x64.NAKED.iso

I also used the ZIP option on Google to download the folder containing this iso, the zip checked ok and the hash of the extracted iso matches what I got when downloading the ISO directly.

Can you confirm the hash for this ISO please?

TIA

i am trying to put a different linux distro instead of lubuntu and it's causing the win 10 pe (non modded at all) to not boot, it shows an error of "possible hardware change".. any idea?
i have tried removing the content of lubde64 and putting the oher linux distro in there with same results.

After re-hashing all 4 ISO images, this (mini.windows.10.x64.NAKED.iso) was the only one that was incorrect on my end, so it's fixed now. Should be as follows:

Hi, first, thanks again for this awesome soft. But is there any way to change keyboard layout (to French AZERTY) in Mini Windows 10 ?

I think alt-tab should switch locals, but azerty might be in the keyboard settings of the control panel somewhere. As an American, I haven't used any other configurations and I'm not sure how to set them up.

Thanks, I will test it soon.

what program can I use to flash medicat under linux? I've tried many softwares but the only one that worked flawlessy was rufus on windows

Downloading now, one can never predict when they will need something like this, better to have it on hand than not!

I used to keep up with Hiren's but as you said it became so outdated that I found just downloading some sort of Linux live distro would do most of the things I needed Hiren's for. That being said this sounds even better than that so thank you! :)

I don't know, but if you ever get to a Windows PC, you could always make one within Mini Windows 10.

Linux might work with just the dd command.

Hello and thank you for your wonderful tool =)
Is it possible to make a torrent download ?
Download with Google is very slow : 2,5MB/s max.

Thanks !

Hello again. So, I tried to change language in MiniWin10 using the flag in the taskbar/Alt + Shift, but only English was available, and the control panel section was disabled. I think it's not very important, but I just report the problem. Also, when I booted in UEFI (My BIOS allows can boot in UEFI mode or not), Medicat directly shows me MinWin10. Anyway, thanks again for this tool which becomes better at each update.

Hello Jayro.
Mini Windows 10 doesn't work in medicat 17.10 (full version). When i try to open it, a Grub command line appears...

Some UBCD tools doesn't work in Boot Management subcategory. Error : "linux.c32: not a COM32R image"

Thx =)
