Anyone experience the bug in chrono trigger that when you die it resets the game and you have to start all over? I started playing it and everything was fine and just went through for warp and as soon as I landed I had to find a few guys. I died and next thing I know the game is starting from the beginning.

Any idea why??

Also if downloading a new hackhi update instead of having to re add games, box art, and custom folders is there a way to copy your setup from a previous version to the new one??

Every one seems to have different opinion about how many games should be kept in one folder.
I wanna hear yours, @KMFDManic . In SNES Classic, what is the ideal number of SNES roms in one folder?
Does the position of the folder/sub-folder will affect on C... error(s)?

Yes. You’re hakchi folder I assume is named hakchi2. Rename it to anything. Like hakchi2old. Uninstall mods and uninstall custom kernel. Then download new hakchi. It will have a new hakchi2 folder. Move your dump, user mods, games, config and if you added folder images then move that folder too from old hakchi2 folder over to new hakchi2 folder then open up and flash custom kernel and reinstall mods and sync games.

I’d advise you to not delete the old hakchi2 folder setup. Cause if you upgrade and don’t like it you literally have your old setup right there.

Just drop the new hakchi over the old one. It'll update. Dont forget to reflash to newer kernel.

Also 60 is the top you should put in a single folder. Otherwise you'll get error C7.

It’s better to create a fresh hakchi folder each time and not to over write.

If you're using a c/d/e version of hakchi 2.21 you have the slowdown/loop bug and can get the new fix from here on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/miniSNESmo...fix_for_slowdown_loop_bug_thats_been/dovlazs/ this will help fix sound issues as well

With regard to this bug there should be good news! :)

from Githup thread:

Cluster just commented this issue one hour ago in this thread stating that it: "Will be fixed soon."

Great news!

Resets the game when you load a save file? Or just resets when you die? A game resetting when you die is common...?

That is good news Gab75.

For the last 2 nights I have been trying to upgrade my NES Mini with extra stuff (I was on 2.17c) but I heard about that USLEEP issue and tried using an older Hakchi and got into all sorts of issues with the 'tar error, directory not found': https://github.com/ClusterM/hakchi2/issues/652
It sounds like the tar directory error was fixed but it was not until Release 2.21c, and that has the USLEEP issue.

@KMFDManic is there a way to get PRBoom to use an internal Doom command? I'm asking because John released 2 new levels and to go straight to them you have to enter a command "idclev18"

Also, is it possible to have all Doom files in 1 directory and just make blank "games" with the correct execute command to point to the wads.
For instance, having PRBoom.wad and doom.wad and Doom2.wad in the same CLV folder, then have 2 games in hakchi. 1 points to Doom.wad and the other points to Doom2.wad. That way, you only need 1 prboom.wad file and all the files are in one directory. Artwork would be tough, but I'm sure someone could come up with something for all the Doom games and Hexen and Heretic. Just wondering. I'll probably try it tonight

I am trying to add mame roms to a mini nes classic but for some reason i can not get them to work. Can someone please help me.
Thanks

Is there a way to get "Starfox Super Weekend" to work in Canoe ?
It gives me C7 error, got some diffrent sources for rom, but it keeps giving me C7. Thanks.

39 elements is the maximum on a folder with snes covers.so it looks good with the thumbnails in the bottom.

On a genesis games folder 40 elements looks good.

119 games on my mini.
1 folder with snes games
1 more folder with snes mature/hardcore games
1 folder with 39 genesis games
1 folder with arcade and gba and nes games
