I wasn't sure where to put this, so I dumped it here.

I was trying to find out if I can install titles to the NAND of my system. I noticed that DSi titles install to it, but how do I install other titles? I have managed to install a working PictoChat and some TWLoader forwarders, but not anything else one the NAND. Is this possible?

I don't think it'll be able to play the games since I think it won't let you play 3DS games from NAND since it was NOT intended to be like that.
But why would you even want to do it, the storage in NAND is not much ;-;

I was just wondering. I would like to be able to install freeShop to the NAND and make it use files from the NAND instead of the microSD.

Oh that's a bit different case.
I can imagine this happening but you will need to write Freeshop to work like that, so a request for the devs can maybe answer your question. I guess the will not add this as an opinion only if it would be too complicated or just impossible

OK, Thank You! I will ask the devs.

How do I contact freeShop devs?...?

Heh, good luck with that.
If you want to contact a dev, your best bet is to talk with whoever is managing the freeshop clone as the original developer probably won't be able to help you.

There is one way, but I really recommend you have a sys backup before you do this, but the older version of fbi let you designate where you install things. I think fbi 2.2.1 was the version.

OK, but I would need to rewrite freeShop to load the enTitlekeys.bin from the NAND instead of the SD

I've never tried it, but you might have to do that. You might be able to use the settings in freeshop to do it, but as a heads-up, I'm still using cruel's freeshop because I don't use it often.

yeah fbi can let u install to nand insalled devmenu and slot 1 launcher in home menu
where do I get devmenu? Also, I don't know how to use devkitpro(ARM) to compile FBI 2.2.1 and that being said, I don't know how to edit and compile freeShop to run with files from NAND.

I found Dev Menu somewhere, but haven't checked to see if it is legit. Does Dev Menu do different things than FBI?
It does less things, you probably have no use for it and it can't install titles to NAND that aren't supposed to go in NAND. However I hear there's a legit version of it that works without CFW (but you still need a way to install it and without CFW only legit titles can be installed)

I have Luma3DS 8.1.1. Also, so DevMenu can't install titles to NAND?
