so I noticed that Makerom has a -dlc option on the command line

I've been trying to use it but all I end up doing is just overwriting the original application.
I have an application, and I want it to read a file from the romfs. But I want the file to be in the dlc (just for experimenting of course).
And don't worry, if I put the file in the applications romfs it works fine, I just can't get the dlc to work. I obviously don't know how to do it right. Does anyone know how?

EDIT:
One thing I do know is that the title id's will have to be different. Just from comparing DLC for games I own with the games themselves, the dlc packs have slightly different title id's then their respective games.

Bump: Can anyone help with this?

In case it wasn't clear I want to have to cia files: The first one being the actual game itself, and the second one containing some extra data to put in the romfs, and if the program detects the file then it will be able to use the 'DLC'.

This isn't possible with all games. Only games that support DLC. And at that point, you have to obtain the DLC's CIA and edit it's RomFS.

Well considering it's my game, how do I make it support DLC. And then how do I create a CIA with the DLC in it.
Because if I just create another CIA containing the romfs files with the same title key and what not it just overwrites the game.
