Hacking Banners/icon templates for Wii VC

I did right top corner, the whole official banner for NDS VC seems rushed, they don't use the same bevel effect on fonts either.

While I'm at it, here's my GBA template.

Once again the full size PNG is in RAR 3.5mb

cannot for the life of me find NES and SNES images.

I haven't read the last few pages, but I am doing my Wii games in the traditional VC style.
Here is a pic I snapped before i left for work.
I need to fix up some edges still,
but if anyone is interested in the gimp template, let me know.


Edit: Here is the png for RE4. As you can see its not the best, i think a few layers were the wrong way around when i exported it, corners stick out etc.
here is the XCF for gimp if you want assets from it or to do a better job.

Does anybody know how WiiU USB Helper scrapes together the GC game icons? Because to be honest I think getting the art as close to the original Wii menu icons and similar ones for GC is a much more aesthetically pleasing template.
If it somehow scrapped the data it uses from the ISO then that would be amazing.
Has anyone tried a APNG yet?

I would love to have your template. But I would prefer to take the Wii logo of @PascalLeroi . Your background combined with @PascalLeroi 's logo would be oprimal, imo.

It probably needs a bit more work
The banners aren't curved and stick out on the corners.
The players text is not editable in gimp as it was once a PSD. (Who needs people when you have a pseudo GC handheld?!?)
Resizing needed, things not lined up perfect etc.
Someone should probably take assets from this if they like it - and do a better job.
There are a few GC banners leftover in it also.
Like Gun, but you can still see the errors I've made.

Nice I would reccomend you take a look at what I've done to the template @CheatFreak47 made (links in my sig) Every little detail is a layer, organised in folders. I like your console picture, but I see that it's actually two pictures layered over each other. The only thing that bugs me about this is that the wiimote is too transparent, as you can see the wii right through it I like the idea though, so I might just add that to my template as an option (will be in the assest folder).

I like your console picture, but I see that it's actually two pictures layered over each other. Haha I didn't even see that.
I'm sure a layer mask or something could achieve the same effect instead of transparency.
