Not sure if that should work on 3.0.0 or not. I will try on my 3.0.0 Switch. I need an excuse to turn it on anyways.

EDIT: I can't access those settings either. I get an error msg saying that I need to re-login to the Nintendo Account. I re-login but it displays the same error.

Looks like social media features may not work without updating. I wouldn't count on any online features working without updating to the latest FW.

Nintendo has got you in checkmate. You gotta update if you wanna use the browser, but then after that there is no downgrading because of eFuses.

You should've set it up when 3.0.0 was the latest update. Wait for the Switch flashcart, I guess.

You're confused. The internet browser will work on 3.0.0. Just not for the social media features, apparently. If you used a custom DNS or a proxy you could redirect the connection test page to whatever you want. You're fine for future exploits.

You're fine. Nothing is wrong. The social media settings clearly don't work on 3.0.0. That doesn't mean anything in terms of hacks. If you want to see the Switch browser load a webpage then follow a guide on setting up fiddler. It would be a waste of time but you could do it if you want to view a web page on the Switch.
