Yes but the gamecube needs to be renamed game.gcm isntead of game.iso and placed in the "Source_Files" folder before you run it The instructions are on the front page really. its pretty easy to use the script way.

So what happens if I just use nintendont's dol file instead? Does that mean everytime there's an update I have to repack it? I'm talking about doing it without using a gamecube game as base.

As a base? you mean as your first one? lol What do you mean?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You can creat just a forwarder if you want to do that. or you can inject a game so each vc channel will load its own game.

I was asking about a forwarder and you told me to inject a gamecube game.

Okay, what I was originally asking is can I have Nintendont's boot/loader.dol on both the inject and the sd card and still update it on the sd card?

after installed you dont need to touch it ever again just update your dol on the sd card and add your game.isos to your Sd card too, cant be easier :P
I've used Nintendont in the past, but thank you though. Looking forward to playing Super Mario Sunshine at 60 fps on my Wii U Gamepad!

If a game doesn't launch or shows black screen, is there a log file in the SD card that I can check to know why Nintendont didn't start the game?

What if the gamecube game I want has disc1 & disc2? Is there a way to combine them so I can convert into a WUP installable format?

Thanks for the heads up :)
I might buy one this weekend, I was worried since Nintendo's site doesn't mention SDXC cards at all, only up to 32GB.
Will give GUIFormat a try for the 128GB card I get, will try to aim for Sandisk with Class 10 for better speed.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/confirming-sdxc-compatibility-with-wii-u-guide.352600/#post-4735629 Confirmed here. Just make sure if you are going SanDisk to get a real one. And as soon as you get it, test it out with h2testw just in case it has issues.

I'm sure he knows that, i use wii backup manager to fat32 format everything, it works great and i have never had a problem with it, I swear by it

Really? The point of your post was to tell me that he already knows it, even though he thanked me for the information? I think next time it's better to let people speak for themselves instead of assuming their feelings. And as for what else you can format your card with, yes, there are many alternatives. You will find that guiformat is highly recommended and referred to a lot on this site.

Well then, I think I pushed everything I can, now its just time for people to try it out and maybe for this script to add some new stuff.
Right now all it will do is unlock the wii vc processor speed from the default 729mhz to a full 1.215ghz, possibly in the future more cafe2wii patches could be made though.
First, you will need a new version of nuspacker to allow packing with cafe2wii files:
https://github.com/FIX94/nuspacker/blob/master/NUSPacker.jar
Just replace the old one and thats all. Then, you will have to download OSv0 (0005001010004000) as well as OSv1 (0005001010004001) with something like JNUSTool.
Take the deint.txt and font.bin from the OSv0 code folder and put it into your destination code folder for a wii vc title. Then in the OSv1 code folder, put this:
https://github.com/FIX94/c2w_patcher/releases
Make sure to edit its starbuck_key.txt to the actual "wiiu starbuck ancast key". Then you should just have to run it, it'll output a c2p.img, put that into your destination code folder renamed to c2w.img together with the boot.bin and dmcu.d.hex.
After that, you can pack the title and install it.
Now after you have it installed, you cant just go ahead and use it, that'll just boot the normal cafe2wii without it unlocked. For this, I wrote a special IOSU patcher:
https://github.com/FIX94/sign_c2w_patcher/releases
All you have to do before launching the wii vc title is start this from the homebrew launcher, then the wii vc title you boot will be at the unlocked 1.215ghz.
To see this added speed in action, you can go launch something demanding like Not64 and WiiSX, though for the moment the probably most boring thing is this wii test app:
https://mega.nz/#!c9JAlY6a!jcFK-BefgJ808yTy4m5aepH-Q6rSunkJBKLLA-ktGfI
It will by default it will print you a clock of about 243mhz and a thread callback of about 95 times, if you have the extra speed it will sit at about 160 times though.
