Hello,

My Switch isn't turning on at all. I've tried the hard reset recommended on Nintendo's site, but w/ no luck. I've also tried plugging the AC adaptor straight into the Switch still w/ no luck. The only sign of life I get is when I dock the Switch. The green light flashes only once for a brief second and that's it. Anyone else come to have this problem and are there any fixes? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

unplug the switchs battery for a bit and try again. if you dont want to open your switch, send it to nintendos customer service

What did you do before it "died"?
Dropped it?
Got it wet?
BANGED IT WITH A HAMMER?
Charged it with the wrong cable?
Formatted it wrong?
Literally nothing. Played BotW the night before. The next day when I went to turn it on, it was a brick. It was in the dock all night. I haven't updated to the latest firmware yet, it was on the previous version which I do don't see how that would matter. I think I'll just have to send it in for repare. The hard reset doesn't do anything and I also cannot get into recovery mode at all. It's literally just a brick.

That's sad, dude. Call nintendo and explain. I hope you'll get it resolved.

Check out this video, may help.
Could unplug the battery, then power it on to remove the excess power, then and plug the battery back in and try to turn on the switch.
Hopefully that works

Unless you tried doing some hardware modification or screwing around with the software, it's likely not bricked. Seems like a hardware issue. Try a few things and if that goes to no avail, send it in for repair/replacement. All Switches are still under warranty, and provided you didn't void that warranty, I'd advise you to make use of it.

I'm sorry for necroposting, but i have the same problem: switch won't turn on at all. Did someone managed to fix this?
I am having the same problem as well. Played games then powered it completely off (not sleep mode) now it won’t turn back on at all. Nothing. Doesn’t work with power cord plugged in either.

Did you guys have AutoRCM on? Maybe the Switch battery just drained out? I don't know much coz I'm very very new to the Switch scene, but that's what I've heard/read. I saw this video where this guy managed to get into Hekate and started charging his Switch. Maybe check it out and see...

I really hope you guys get your Switch up and running.

What worked for me:

Put the Jig into the switch. go into RCM Mode with holding Volume+ and Power, then plug the SX Pro dongle in it OR put load the payload you want. Then it should restart and boot properly.

But before you do that - hold On/Off Button for at least 30 Seconds to be sure that the switch is completly turned off.
