Instructions on installing Adrenaline: http://cfw.guide/vita/installing-adrenaline

https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline/releases/tag/v6

Changelog v6
  • Redesigned boot process. Adrenaline does now not require any basegame or activation anymore.
  • Added 'uma0:' to 'Memory Stick Location'.
  • Added support for longer ISO filenames.
  • Fixed Memory Stick free space integer overflow in games like Outrun.
  • Fixed bug where ISO games did not show up when the folder 'PSP/GAME' was missing.
  • Improved core and fixed some small bugs.

CSO Fix: https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline/releases/tag/v6_fix

Instructions straight from the github:
How to install
  1. Download Adrenaline.vpk and install it using VitaShell.
  2. Launch Adrenaline and press X to download the 6.61 firmware. After finishing it will automatically terminate.
  3. Relaunch Adrenaline, this time it will go into pspemu mode. Follow the instructions on screen.
Note #1: Adrenaline has been redesigned in 6.61 Adrenaline-6, so you'd need to launch Adrenaline twice everytime you reboot your device. To get rid of that, simply write this line to *KERNEL

*KERNEL
ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx

Note #2: If you have been using a previous Adrenaline, please uninstall it before using 6.61 Adrenaline-6 or higher. Just remove the directory ux0:adrenaline to avoid interference.

Suggestion for SD card users:
For sd2vita users, you must add ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx under ur0:tai/gamesd.skprx.

*KERNEL
ur0:tai/gamesd.skprx
ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx

That makes no sense. If you don't want to have a memory card in your system, then there is no reason not to setup Sd2vita as ux0, which was already compatible.

Am I missing something?
Lol, adrenaline doesn't even have anything to do with Adrenaline anyway, so I'm just asked confused

Just tested and it's working fine.

Last time I used it I couldn't get adrenaline to use my sd2vita someone said it was because the adrenaline module loads before the sd card is mounted as ux0.

I don't know.

It definitely seems to just work now, just downloading the PSP firmware.

Nope, pretty sure you just did something wrong. My guess it was the config.txt

Either way, this is working now so who cares about what happened

Adrenaline has nothing to do with adrenaline? :/

I think we need to delete it then install the vpk

From the changelog

can we update via adrenaline or do we need to delete that and install the vpk?

does this include the flash folder or does 661 need to be in its location? I'm assuming it needs to be since it's over 30MBs.

  • Added 'uma0:' to 'Memory Stick Location'.

So that means when you install adrenaline using a sd2vita it won't freeze up and actually load now?

According to OP this was a config issue. But it's definitely working with SD2Vita now at any rate. Literally copy .vpk to your sd card. install with vitashell, run adrenaline a few times and bingo.

it sounds like u can just delete the flash files as they're downloaded automatically with the app. don't know if they're downloaded to the same location though. remove all traces of adrenaline from ur system, install vpk, add that one line to the kernel section of tai config, and ur done. that's what I get from it.

Great news... now we can store our psp isos on the umao partition and use uxo (sd2vita) for vita games...
