Are you using the Homebrew Launcher? Webkit exploit? RetroArch launcher? Brand of SD card, your folder structure? Had you given any of this information, we could have helped you instead of you hurling ad hominem attacks. You're on your own.

There are countless people who are using this without any issues whatsoever, and yet here you are, bitching about the emulator not even "working", when it clearly works perfectly fine. If you're going to be difficult, and start attacking the people who are trying to assist you, you can forget it, because until you stop insulting us, you're never going to get help.

If you're not using any of these folders or hierarchies, then you have no one to blame but yourself. Hmm, that's funny, I can use any version of RetroArch Wii U just fine, you're doing something wrong, you don't have it correctly set up.

Actually, I did get the emulators to work. Now I just want to know how to add filters (Like CRT, Nearest, etc.) and stop the system from crashing whenever I quit RetroArch. I'm having a hard time, and I have anger issues. Sorry if I'm getting hasty.

Holy hell, these developers spend countless hours, on their own free time, they don't so much as even get paid. And when you are so ungrateful for what they do by bitching incessantly on how "it doesn't work, it's a piece of shit", blah blah. How would you feel if you were the programmers and you spent countless hours for someone to shit on your work? Either read the Wiki/FAQ, show us how your folders are set up, or stop your incessant bickering.

Look, dude, if your SD folder hierarchy matches to what I have here, then there shouldn't be any issues whatsoever.

RPX and ELF files for the Wii U are very context sensitive and have to be set up 100% exactly correct, as shown in the above links. RetroArch is no exception. I am trying to help you, I am trying to figure out why you're getting these crashes.

Are you using:

Homebrew Launcher?
RetroArch Launcher?
Webkit exploit?
Self-hosting?

SD card:
Brand?
Read/write speed?
Class?

We need more info.

If you get booted back to the wiiu menu after loading the channel. It could be th sd card isnt inserted correctly. Try launching the hbl if the apps show up the channel should work too.

Always use RPX..

You dont need all the files in the wii folder you only need the retroarch one, although you may want to replace the retroarch.rpx file with one from another folder. (The gba rpx one for example)

Remember if the retro channel boots back to the wii menu try reinserting the sd card.

The only 2 problems are that I don't know how to add filters/shaders (like CRT, Nearest, etc.) and it crashes whenever I quit RetroArch.
I use 1.6.4 (RPX) and only use mGBA, Nestopia, and snes9x-2010.

Why are you using Snes9x 2010? It's outdated, use Snes9x 1.54 regular, it's full speed and more stable. Shaders do "work" but are not officially supported by the Wii U port, and have no guarantee of working properly.

How are you even loading the apps?

Because I don't like playing on my PC considering my desk setup, and would rather play on a console. I use Haxchi (Not Coldboot) to launch up Homebrew 1.4, and then I open up RetroArch itself.
