My head is about to EXPLODE! I've dumbed down my complete setup have only one emulator (snes9x2010) and a couple roms for testing on said emulator and still can't get box art!!!! Plz tell me what I am missing? And for the love of god plz don't post something that is for the wii u between the years of 2015 or 2016 as I feel they are obsolete and get me even angrier. Like I mentioned before, i have team viewer installed if someone wants to help a brother out. Those that dont know what team viewer is, it allows you access to my cpu to show me what im doing wrong. Honestly, its a freaking shame, I program Control4 for $2,000,000 homes, which is a home automation system that controls anything you could imagine, but cant seem to make this stuff work. #fail #imnotdumb #helpusplz

First, a HUGE Thank you to Cucholix for the RA channel!

I have three questions:
1) There are three SNES emulator, which is the most accurate?
2) In older versions there was a "Setting" option, where you could adjust the aspect ratio etc.. Is it gone? O.o
3) Anyway to add scanlines?

You are using playlists for the box art?

Snes9x is best one imho.
For aspect ration go right ones, scroll down to video.
No scanlines, they just said that like last page lol.

Am i supposed to be?

Of course I have, isn't that a bit dated tho? Im using stable build 1.6.7, should I try lower? Also, Snes9x2010 (the only core installed) don't see games in rom directory.
The op was literally just updated. And what do you mean don't see games in rom directory

You don't "see" them in the playlist? in content load? in your SD
Not sure how many other ways I can explain the issue

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Did you set the path? If not you would need to manually go sd roms etc. The roms directory is never set default for them.
I did that

I just cant get it to work...I keep getting the corrupted memory for some reason. I completely reinstalled Retroarch from latest nightly (is that really a recommended thing to do?) and it wont work. I deleted WiiU folder to prevent rpx loading and installed channel. I run the application from Mocha and then when in CFW, Retroarch.Am I doing something wrong?

Sd:\retroarch
RetroArch\config\remaps <-- empty
RetroArch\cores\info\playlist\savefiles\savestates\snes9x2010_libretro\system\thumbnails

Cores/info <-- houses all core info files

Cores\playlist <-- empty

Cores\savefiles " "
Cores\savestates " "
Cores\snes9x2010_libretro\icon,meta,snes9x2010_libretro.rpx

Cores\system <-- empty
Cores\thumbnails <--- seen a thread that mentioned to make this folder

Thumbnails\Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System\named_ boxarts etc <-- these were pulled via the OP thread you guys mentioned

Cores\snes9x_libretro.rpx, snes9x2010_libretro.rpx <-- these 2 files are not in a folder just at the bottom of the core folder

Cores\downloads <-- empty
Cores\filter <-- empty
Cores\media\ <-- extracted assets here

Sd:\roms\Nintendo - Super NintendoEntertainment System\my games

Am I missing anything else any other folders need to be added? I'll tell you how my directory path is setup if that'll help you help me.

Very big thank you to all who are helping!

Thanks :)
It's fine if you want to use it on the Wiki :3
Cool. Thanks for giving me green light for that. Will do it soon. :)

Cores\playlist <-- empty
That shouldn't be empty. Create a playlist. E.g. with playlist buddy for windows and put it there. Be sure to adjust the paths to where they are on your SD and take care to use "/" instead of "\" for paths.
