Hacking Help with new 2ds xl hacking

Hello,

i'm planning to buy new nintendo 2ds xl, i currently own a old 3ds xl running rxTools (cfw). I bought the 3ds used and this flashcart was included (http://imgur.com/a/dlc0v).
How can I install cfw on new nintendo 2ds xl ? I'm not sure NTRBoot will work with my flashcart (can i brick the device?).

That's not a currently supported flashcart for ntrboot.

Follow https://3ds.guide to get your O3DS updated to current CFW. Afterwards, you can use the DSiWarehax method (requires a purchase of a cheap DSiWare game and a system transfer) to hack the N2DS.

My current 3ds is NTSC ('U' in system info), i'm buying a PAL 2ds, is it a problem ? Will it work if i change the region of hacked 3ds (https://3ds.guide/region-changing) ?

Yeah, in that case a DSiWarehax transfer isn't an option. You'll need a supported DS flashcart for ntrboot.

Your cart looks like an R4i SDHC of some kind. (e: It might be a DSTT, I haven't seen any pictures of its PCB.)

DSTT is not currently supported, but it sounds like support for it will be released relatively soon.

As of now, the supported cards are an Acekard 2i and R4i Gold 3DS (r4ids.cn). You can go with a DSTT to save money on the assumption that it will work soon or wait until your current flashcart is supported, but there's no guarantees that it will be.

R4i Gold is recommended because it can be flashed on stock firmware, but you do still have your CFW DS, meaning you CAN use an Acekard 2i as well. I'd recommend updating it to B9S/Luma or B9S/Reinand first before you do anything.
