Have you played the Pokemon remakes? They are vastly superior to the original versions of the game.

Hence why they were remade, to be improved, if the remakes were worse then I think we'd have an issue.

It would have been nice if Ubisoft didn't cancel Assassin's Creed Lost Legacy. They recycled it into AC Revelations, but being able to play something like that on the 3DS would have been really cool.

Super Mario 64 on the 3DS with updated visuals and support for the Circle Pad would be an instabuy.

I'm also surprised that Capcom didn't bring any main series Resident Evil games to the 3DS. They ported the original to the DS, and even made an iOS/Android port of Resident Evil 4 (heavily downgraded, but still technologically impressive at the time of release). The 3DS would have been more than capable of running a downscaled version of REmake.

I think some people's expectations in this thread are a little hopeful considering the 3DS' capabilities.

I myself would have loved a sequel to Soma Bringer, maybe in full 3D or at least with detailed sprite maps.

Battle Network VCs. They were portable, their re-release should also be portable. This was right around the time they were releasing RBY as well, so they could have (and missed the opportunity to) given them wireless trading/net battling options.

Never should a battle network game be tethered to the same room as my Wii U.

I'll never understand why they don't made a english version of this game.

I would be happy even with a Digimon World remake (1 or 2).

Well, it was basically a remake of World (PSX).
BANDAI noticed the localization begging campaign on the Internet but they di'nt make an english localization because... well, they had an occasion to release a younger game: the latest Story (then the lastest World, and both got "screwed up" in terms of consoles/retail availability).
