So as we all know a exploit that existed till Firmware version 3.0 has been fixed in 3.01. While where is probably no
Switch with 3.0.1 sold in stores to this day (17.08.2017), I think it would be a good idea to start a thread where people
can post the serial number and informations about their switch consoles to help people buy hackable switches in the future.

Assembly Line:
Batch Number:
Region:
Firmware:
System Color:
Was a bundle (if yes, which):

If you know with which Firmware your switch came out of the box, please fill in those fields.

According to CTCear, here are some information about the Switch serial numbers:

For example: XAJ70002712345

X: Product of NX line
A: Switch Hardware
J70: Assembly line
The following numbers are probably a consecutive number. So the Switch in the example is Switch number 2712345. To determine the
Firmware to serial correlation, please post the number rounded to the hundred thousands. In this example you would post 2.7 million in the
"Batch Number" field.

Sorry, wasn't included because I thought less digits were required and so the serials in the first posts were removed again.
I added your serial again.

I will keep updating the OP since it is easier on mobile, but if someone wans to update the spreadsheet I would appreciate it.
The only thing I dislike is that the title is r/switchhacks and not gbatemp, since we gather the serials on gbatemp and not reddit.

Replaced /r/switchhacks with a link back to this thread. Also added your serials up to now so hopefully new comers will update there too!

Page is freely editable and runs on the honor system so go ahead and change the sheet if you wish to include more information or if I got something incorrect.

Awesome, that super handy if some wants more information then just the serial but don't want to skim through the entire thread. I saw that the serials that already existed in the sheet were yours, I added them to the OP. Didn't saw them the first time, sorry.

No worries! Can you link the sheet on the 1st post so people know it exists :). Also added the ability to sort and filter sheet to make it easier to slice through the data.

List is up at original link or now http://bit.ly/switchfw to make it easy to remember

38 serials and counting

I think it's now working out.

We can clearly see a pattern with Batch numbers rising per Assembly line and that new versions are installed.

Yep, I think so too. The pattern is pretty clear now. Every assembly line has their own batch number which they count up.
Shouldn't be a problem to find switches with specific firmwares.
