Not all foods are unlocked with the unlock button (as of 1.0.2 beta).

I could send the common.sav with the Elven Potion if you need help :)

Thanks for the save editor! :D

EDIT: Didn't realize you made a new version, sorry :)

no problem, if something goes wrong with the new version tell me

Again. This is a save editor. A save editor cannot alter the way the game works. It can only change things which are stored in your save file.

Also, never feeding your miis any foods will actually make the game slightly harder, so that you don't feel like you're overpowering everything. Otherwise, your best bet is periodically reducing your mii to level 1 using this save editor.

@Brion What precisely are the "hidden stats" on the editor? Like, why are they hidden? Is it because they're not fully functional for editing, or are they just hidden to make things look better?

They just hidden to make things better, only min and max values are checked, if they are show, users can edit them himself (just click on editor version to hide / show).
Food boost, level by class, Mii relation are like this. I need to found all values for each level, it will be long.

Out of curiosity, which file contains the Highlights? Does that file solely contain Highlights?

(I'm wondering if I could transfer one save file's Highlights to another save file by simply swapping in the file that contain the Highlights, although I'm guessing it would probably mess up something else.)
I don't know sorry
I did some experimenting by myself, and I discovered that the Highlights are stored in quest.sav. I found this out by moving an earlier backup file's quest.sav to the folder of my current save file. However, that file also seems to contain the player's story/map progress.

If it turns out to be impossible to directly edit the appearance of party members in the Highlights, could you maybe instead add a function to import one save file's Highlights into another save file without affecting map progress? (Hope that makes sense.)

Yes, I'll try, I also found some dangerous features too : unlock dragon and ability to change class, it affects progress in the game ; unlocks access to certain levels, unlocks the Mii faces in all villages, unlocks most of the worlds).

Hello, sorry new to the site. I was just wondering how do I "back up" my save file? It says to make a back up before using the editor? Sorry I've never made a back up before. I tried looking for videos before asking here but couldn't really find anything. Do I just simply copy all my data from my sd card that's in my 3ds? Or is there a way to just back up my Miitopia save file?

When people say to backup a file, it just means to create an unmodified copy of it somewhere safe, like your computer. So, if something goes wrong with this save editor, you can just load that copy in your game to restore it and avoid getting stuck with a broken file :)
Since we're talking about 3ds games, you should to backup the ".sav" files before editing them.

Yes, I'll try, I also found some dangerous features too : unlock dragon and ability to change class, it affects progress in the game ; unlocks access to certain levels, unlocks the Mii faces in all villages, unlocks most of the worlds).

In the game there are:
  • The levels, the stages where your party battle and random events happen.
  • There's the map, where you can choose what level you'd like to play
  • And the world map, where you can travel between worlds with the dragon.
I see how unlocking paths prematurely could be really dangerous for a full playthrough, but I'd be willing to test it! I just intend to roleplay and follow the regular story without triggering events in the wrong order. Maybe that would be possible?
If everything is unlocked but you can still play the levels in their regular order without the game breaking, that would be more than ok for me. I can't see how many other people would like to see such feature in the SE, so maybe I'm being egoistical here.

I'll add some things to the editor on Github, you can test if you want, I need feedback on features, so if something goes wrong telle me here or on Github

Given how linear the game's event flags seem to be, it seems that the only way to remove that godawful illness mechanic (Seriously. I'm a cleric who can literally raise the dead, but I can't cure a simple flu?) that gets introduced once your full party groups up would be to either mod the game itself or painstakingly manually cure everyone in the save editor every time. I'd be happy to be wrong on that, though.

That said, being able to have all 14 of the jobs from the beginning, as well as being able to "prod" the Dark Lord into resetting the hero to level 1 (equipment too!) rather than forcing a job change would be nifty for a job fiesta run.

some features come, but I need some time to test them, it's planned to found how to unsick Miis, cause disputes, and other things

Changes on ver.1.0.3 :
- Add edit Mii relationship
- Add unlock weapons and costumes in encyclopedia
- Add unlock dragon / ability to switch class (seem to be dangerous)
- Update hidden things (users can edit himself features values)
need to click on editor version to show/hide them
