Hi,

this is my first time playing Legend of Zelda completely. So today I finished main quest ''Destroy Ganon'' and after successfully defeating it and watching credits I got main screen with option to continue, so I did and it loaded save before beating Ganon. Is it just me or there's nothing after defeating Ganon and you can't play after it?
It's the same way for Final Fantasy XV and a lot of other games. They let you go back to a point where you could still interact with the world, but the final boss will always be available to fight. Very common thing.

Yeah, the ending was very disappointing. It just didnt feel like you did anything at all. At least give us some endgame stuff to do afterwards. some nice loot. etcetc.
you should know that no zelda game have endgame content. the last save would always take you to the your save before the final fight. though if it asks to save after the credits, it is just for you to start hero mode in some games.
so why are you disappointed. if you played any old zelda game, you would expect this to happen. if you were not disappointed in the past games, why now.

Why do you like to say "cancer" ? Do you think its funny ? Its serious disease and you shouldn't mock it or something. :O
Indeed. I never understood this sentence. Every time I see a woman without a single hair on their head it breaks my heart. People should understand how these humans suffer. I'm sure people don't mean it that way, but it's still a cruel thing to say. Anyway, I digress.

The main quest in Zelda is quite short. If you don't like running, climbing, exploring and collecting between the story, this game won't entertain you for long. ;-)

Name 10 zelda games with interesting plot.
(And note there is quite a few that has nothing to do with ganon)

Besides that, the story was boring, and the only reason why I cared was the characters talked to me! The first time a zelda game and people talk! O_O
Huh? You clearly haven't played all Zelda games. There has been voice acting since Ocarina of Time (granted, it's mostly grunts and noises, but text accompanies it as well). If you include text (which you SHOULD if you're a fan of RPG), The very first one had old guys that talked, people that sold stuff, even monsters that gave you money, saying "it's a secret to everyone". The very second Zelda had people telling you where to go and riddles to solve.

Umm okay, but none of that has to do with answering my question, I just asked for someone to name 10 zelda games with a interesting plot, and I know that characters talk, I was referring to a voice over for text. Not just reading it, but hearing the character talk as well.

In no particular order: BotW, Majora, Phantom, OoT, Four Swords, Minish cap, Spirit tracks, ALttP, Oracles, Link between worlds... screw it. Anything after the first one. If not, we wouldn't be playing them :ha:

EDIT: I do NOT include the triforce heroes one. That was a terrible, terrible plot. Not even a plot. It just sucked and I went through it all just because... Zelda :wtf:

Difference being those endings felt satisfying. And the comparison to past zelda games kind of flies out of the window given how different this game is.

There are no post-game features at the moment. Zelda games traditionally return you back to the point right before the final boss.

i didn't played this game, but i am kite confused with this thread...
don't all zelda games after defeating the boss, you get spawned at the boss entry room and it's like you never defeat it?
all that happens is usually you unlock the new game plus.. but either way, after defeating the final boss, the save is just before you enter his room

Breath of the Wild is the same, the game will auto-save after beating the final boss, but loading the game will place Link right before the final boss battle. The game does change after beating the final boss (e.g. Some map features and items are unlocked) so basically it's like the game being saved after the boss battle but the boss and plot gets reset to a point right before it.

so... like every other zelda game? i still don't understand this thread...

It's about what I'd expect from a Zelda game, it's always like this.
It's a bit disappointing, but eh, at least you can go and beat Ganon again whenever you want.

Zelda games have never had post game content, and this one is no exception. I don't understand the OP's complain about it, as every Zelda game has practically ended the same way
