[Useful Info]
Device: 2DS (Old)
Current System Menu Version: 9.2.0
Setup: Luma 8.1 and Boot9Strap 1.2
NAND Backup: No
Do I have access to Luma3DS Chainloader Menu and GodMode9: Yes

[Background History]
1) This was a soft-bricked 2DS I had bought. I used 2DSaver ( https://gbatemp.net/threads/2dsaver-beta-fix-your-2ds-format-brick-testers-needed.457828/ ) and was successful in regaining access to the home menu.
2) Finding out that the system was on 2.1.0, I used the guide here: https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(2xrsa) though I did not proceed to "finalize" the procedure on the next page. Due to the lack of a NAND backup I resorted to doing a 9.2.0 CTRTransfer, as a user had advised to do in the thread (Updating through a game cart or online in this state was not advised due to possibility of a brick). I understand that I had failed to do a backup while I was on 2.1.0, though this is the state I am in.
3) Proceeding with the CTRTransfer, as per https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer.html , I go through to "Section II - CTRTransfer" - Step 20 where I received the error screen shown in the images attached:
An exception occurred
Processor: ARM9
Exception Type: prefetch abort (svcBreak)

4) Attempted to look for solutions on here and beyond, though I seem to have hit a road block. I found this thread, https://gbatemp.net/threads/broken-ctrnand-cause-by-a-corrupted-bakcup-need-help.470210/page-2 , which seemed to be similar in nature though no solution. Someone in the thread had suggested following the "I got a black screen on boot" from the Luma3DS Github FAQ and Troubleshooting ( https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/FAQ-and-troubleshooting#i-get-a-black-screen-on-boot ). Even in doubt, I attempted this to no avail.

5) I have tried doing the CTRTransfer from the beginning, again with no success. Unfortunately, I have not found anything else relatable, that's why I am here reaching out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Forgot to mention. Crash Dump is attached as well.

I don't have any good advice for you but it's an interesting problem. Are you 100% sure you are using the correct region and 3DS type (old) for your CTR transfer? And your SD card is definitely not corrupted or anything (you've tested it with H2testw)?

The region I am fairly confident with, though I cannot guarantee. I went off of the fact that the writing on the back of the 2DS is in English and French, suggesting to me that it is a Canadian (US) Unit. The CTR-Transfer I can confirm to be for the old 3DS/2DS ( 9.2.0-20U_ctrtransfer_o3ds.bin ). SD Card corruption I have not tested, or even considered. I will test with H2testw and report back. Thanks!

I would try creating a nand backup now, then deleting the 1:/data folder to check if erasing settings helps!

Try a Eur one just in case. I have a Eur 2DS and it has English and French too.

Can't you use the serial number to determine region? What's the letters at the beginning of the serial number? https://www.3dbrew.org/wiki/Serials

H2Testw v1.4 came back with no errors.

Thanks for that link squall. The Serial suggests that it is a North American console.

I'll give that a shot and see how it goes.

Edit: @Ryccardo Seems like it didn't work. Thanks for suggesting though!
