Hi. I bought this NES Mini, and it´s already hacked, but i want to add more games. I download the installer and hakchi2 2.17. I got this message: It´s safe to continue? Thanks in advance!

Nice taste in games. Good to see another fan of Recca, that game is insane.

To be safe, you should track down a copy of the original kernel, and place that in the \dump\ folder. Then uninstall and Hakchi and any cores that might be pre-installed, and then you'll be back to an original NESC. Then flash the custom kernel and install the games as you would on a fresh system.

Just to let you know you will lose the games you previously had on it. That the person who hacked it first put on.

Anyone who sells a modded NES Classic should do the courtesy of including the Hakchi program and all configs/games that went with it, so the buyer can make any additional modifications without having to start from scratch.

But it's not helpful people selling those things

I tested NBA Jam TE using the 2010 core, and it runs just like the 2003 core, too slow to play.

Have you tried it on your pi? I haven't tried it yet..wknd is here now!

No, not yet. Midway games are problematic on MAME, so I'm not encouraged. I found a much better alternative on my NESC, PS1 rip of NBA Hangtime.

I just tried NBA Hangtime TE on my pi..mame2003 runs better than mame2010..the audio is a little choppy tho, but video runs great!

Can anyone confirm, for definite, which SNES core causes the 5mb save states? There are seeming contradictions in the updates, with the first quoted here seeming to confirm 2010 is the one to use, but the update the previous month stating the opposite.
this update https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover/releases/tag/0.7 clearly states that by v. 2.15 the core was changed 'back to' snes9x2010.[/QUOTE]
However, the previous month, this was the update https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover/releases/tag/0.4.1

As the core is updated, things are fixed. As new features are implemented, things break. Which is what happened to 2010 core. Things were added and it caused 5mb saves. After hearing reports from community and locating the issue, it was fixed.
