This is great, thanks!

I found out a way someone could detect the 3DS running this patch and CFW is if you remove the SD Card while playing a game, the error will not be the standard "The SD Card was removed" but rather the Luma error message screen.
I can try to disable Luma's exceptions. Will report back.

If I want load a payload with your CFW, how I could do it?
You'll need to replace the boot.firm on your SD card, or drop your key-defined payloads in CTRNAND:/rw/luma/payloads/. Ie up_GodMode9.firm, x_SafeB9SInstaller.firm.

Just tested and it's working flawlessly!!
Thanks dpad!

Now just waiting for it to be open-sourced :D

No problem! I'm installing all the GitHub stuff on my computer now so I can publish the source code. A majority of the changes is just commenting out stuff lol

Just published the source code. Link at the top of OP post.

Unfortunately no. All of my attempts to modify the exceptions.c or errdisp.c file led to either the system not booting at all or no errors at all (meaning when I remove the SD card the current game/application I'm using won't even crash until I try to go into another menu, start something, etc)

I'd be able to do it if someone would be able to provide me with the source code of the Luma 7.1 legacy builds made for B9S 1.2.

Thanks for the fast work and response!!
I'll be looking through it now!

still working on full stealth aka pull SD card out official error screen?

You'll need to replace the boot.firm on your SD card, or drop your key-defined payloads in CTRNAND:/rw/luma/payloads/. Ie up_GodMode9.firm, x_SafeB9SInstaller.firm.

Then, if I understand correctly:

If you put this mod-CFW on CTRNAND, don't show any image when I press start and I can have SD empty, as a hidden CFW.

But if I want load payload, I must put "boot.firm" on SD and only put a payload in "payloads" folder, right?

@dpad_5678 do we have an update status on still working on full stealth aka pull SD card out official error screen?

this project is dead in the water people as the legacy branch is no longer a thing
