ROM Hack About heartgold rom hacking

Hello guys new person here. I have always wondered and tried to search as much as possible about it but i didn't find any info about how to do it. So all i want is how can i change the trainer sprite (permanently not with an ar) in pokemon heartgold to one that i wish. I mean changing the sprite completely to perform all the moves that the normal hero/heroine does in the game and let everything else in the rom as it is. Based on your experience because for me it's something that i have never done before neither something similar how hard is it? If there is any person available to help please let me know and thanks a lot

you'll have to replace every sprite, running walking (all interactions) with your custom ones, can you send me your sprite sheet?

Hello iAqua you are a godsend indeed and i hope you can help a super noob to rom hacking like me. I've been using all the tools that he provides in this video. However, i become stuck since he has already the sprites where i don't have. So what i exactly want is this: To play instead of the main hero/heroine with Cynthia (the dppt champion) and instead of black dress in white dress. However, i don't have the sprites for her neither i know how to progress after this point. I have basically done from 18:24 (from the part that the heartgold comes) up to 23:27. And now i'm stuck and don't know what to do. As i said i have never done this before or anything similar so there are tons of things that i don't understand that's why i require help.

Okay, what you've gotta do is take a cynthia spritesheet, then you have to replace the player actions with these, for the white dress, that's simple photo editing.

Those are gen 5 sprites do i need gen 5 or gen 4? And about when use an HM, bicycle e.t.c what do you think?

Sprites are interchangable between generations.

But Cynthia looks different in gen 4 and in gen 5 doesn't she? Also since you are on do you happen to be on discord so we can talk there better?

discord is aqua#6063, yes she looks different, but those are the only sprites I could find, they will work.
