You're not the brightest bulb in the box, are you?

Believe it or not it's not unfounded. Frame rate wise both versions are similar, with the Switch technically edging out but it still struggles in the same spots. Meanwhile the Switch version universally loads slower, something close to a second per load. Speedrunners use the Wii U version for this reason.

I'd blame it on poor optimization though. The game is... Well it's a mess in nearly every aspect to be frank.

I think they speed up the loading with the patches however. I can get why the Wii U load faster since it loads less than the Switch.

You know, we wouldn't have this kind of thing happening so fast if Nintendo just made the Switch region free.
...
wait

What I meant to say was, I want every device I own capable of playing emulators.

Which would require even more CPU power to do, cheat codes don't magically increase it without using more CPU power.

Of course, but overclocking could be added to CEMU in the future if the devs are interested. We may even have more powerful hardware in the future that makes it practical to overclock a Wii U emulator.

Poor optimization from a rushed port. Which is stupid.

The Switch version of BOTW runs worse because programming, period. Even Aonuma said he was sad he couldn't take advantage of the Switch's power. During dev the game even ran at 60fps lol

Yeah it does store games on SD also if you have an SD everything gets stored on it screenshots etc... No options to change either

Do we know which OFW version we should be on yet to potentially benefit from this kernel dump's future exploitation? I'm still on 2.0.0 but, if the benefits of this dump can benefit those on 3.0.0, I might as well upgrade.
