Oh, yes. This is a modification of one of @CompC 's Amiibo Cards.

Hey everyone ! Wanting to make for my own personnal collection these cards with NTAG215 chips, i wanted to know what was your template dimensions ? With the use of border to cut i don't know if the final card is make to be the same size as Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival cards ! Having 3 of them, i wanted to make a similar size for these fan art cards are the official ^^ Thank you by advance !

EDIT : Yes, the Shadow Mewtwo card have the same size that Animal Crossing ones

See the PDF for how I cut out my cards.

You can rearrange some steps to optimize the workflow but you might want to wait until you are familiar with making a few cards before you start changing things for better speed.

And obviously I'm not saying this is the best way to cut out and assemble the cards, this was just the method that worked for me.

Edit: I have found that Elmer's Rubber Cement works way better then the double sided tape. You just apply an even coat to both sides of the backing... wait about 30 seconds and squeeze the fold together. The plus side is any excess mess you make easily just rubs off.

just letting you know people are selling all the zelda ones in bundles on ebay and wish using this artwork here you posted and there are a lot of them posted and most of them on wish are being sold from china so its gonna be hard for you to get removed because the ones from china is gonna just keep getting posted. But i found the for sell post a few days ago now there are all kinds and i was on this page today to look to see if i can find some custom amiibo artwork to use for my own amiibo backups i found your post. Need any help with finding the post's let me know

@Random11 -- these are AMAZING. I actually first stumbled across these on etsy but did not buy a set; I went looking for templates to try to make my own instead and found this thread. I'm so glad I didn't support the people who stole your work!

I have some circle NFC stickers and want to stick them on the back of a card rather than trying to figure out how to laminate/glue/spray/rubber cement/otherwise stick together two pieces of paper perfectly (even with your handy dandy cutting instructions), but the amiibo logo on the backs of your designs is square. I hope this is ok, but I spent a stupid amount of time trying to replace the logo with circle ones (from @EmanueleBGN files) and I figured someone else might come looking for this. (If not ok just let me know and I'll remove this post!)


Also, any chance you plan on releasing the Champions ones anytime soon? I know you said you were waiting for the box art because they went with different images for TP and SS Link, but I saw that there's box art for the European(/German) set (which uses the concept art with the paint swooshes like the other BOTW boxes) although the Japan set has different box art. Otherwise I am very slowly plugging away at taking out the paint backgrounds and learning how to use your template..

LMAO.... no they look good, thanks im sure some people would like them. As for the Champions, Im still waiting on the North American box art. I have them already masked out (I took out the blue paint from the official art), so as soon as they get posted I will have the champions up here probably within a day.

First batch is done, and I made several mistakes that I've learned from. Feel like I've perfected "the craft" now though—figured out how to avoid streaks, white lines on the edges, ink smudges, and overlap of the laminate sheets. My final few cards came out perfectly, and I kind of want to take another stab at the prints knowing what I know now. Might just give these first ones to my friend. I'll take pictures soon to share with everyone; really happy with how these are turning out.

I may get around to making the whole smash line. But in the meantime if you want to try and make them yourselves here you go. (includes CompC style too)

I mentioned it in your credit card sized thread as well, but I just wanted to say again that continuing the whole Smash line would be awesome. And Splatoon... And all of them...

Hello

I made 18 different card backs with the list of items which can be obtained. The list is based on the work of ShugoTakahashi on reddit.
There is also a "generic back" for unsupported Amiibo.

The Amiibo logo is actually reserved to stick 2.5cm NFC tags.

You can download the source PSD from my website, there already are reserved groups for the 4 Champions.
