Slight necro but fwiw any school email works; if you dont have an .edu email try yours anyways, since most schools register their non-edu emails.

Plus, .ac, .ac.uk, etc exist.

Just tried this today and it worked. I got the token error 4 separate times, waiting about 10 minutes between each. Finally I tried again and it gave me one. Make sure you use IE for it and signing up as Firefox wouldn't go through the dev account registration for me.

After taking the code and switching to IE everything went through and I just got dev mode activated.

Thanks for the heads up about the program. Even though I got dev mode registered, I still haven't rebooted to it as I'm still downloading updates, patches and backwards compatible games since getting the system 2 days ago.

Tomorrow all of that should finally be done and I will use what a brand new modern console is built for.... playing some NES games.

So I verified my school account successfully and am able to access the catalog, however the op states to scroll until I see 'this' however there is no image in the op and it moves to the next step. What does the op mean by 'this' since there are many options and I don't know what to choose.
