Hacking MaiDumpTool, what am I doing wrong

So I've installed the program, put in a game, launched the program, selected the first option, then the first option again, pressed O to being, it starts the digital manual and stops there. It says not to touch anything, so I don't, but how long is this suppose to take? After 10 minutes, it's still at the digital manual! If I cancel everything and launch MaiDumpTool again, it will start dumping the game, but only a few MBs of it, not the entire thing.

So what am I doing wrong here? I didn't have the problem with Vitamin.

Possibility:
Bad DL or extraction
did you put it in the mai folder?
what game is it and how large is it... granted shouldnt really matter I done 3-4 gb game and didn't take that long. All it doing is moving the folder to the right location and doing the correct edit.
Which MaidumpTool you are using?

I thought all the games were compatible with MAiDumpTool

Games I try to dump are creating a folder in the Mai folder

I wasn't really looking at the mai menu I didn't see you actually was ripping the game yourself instead of installing. So... unfortunally I personally didn't haven't try to rip any game with Mai yet I can't really offer more assistants only with Vitamin a little.

So you might need to wait for someone else to post and I try to do a test rip eventually...

What game is it still? the game in question might have issue with ripping.

No, not all games can be dumped by Maidump. There are quite a few that have issues being dumped altogether, so we need to know what game it is.

I tried: Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni-, Shovel Knight, Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God, Superdimension Neptune vs Sega Hard Girls

You are not using a USB-drive with a PSTV by any chance?
For me every game I tried worked so far, but as soon I used a USB-drive it failed.
