I heard that RetroArch supports Material UI and XMB menu in Wii U [1.6.0 build]
Does it work? Also, new cores? Everyone is talking about C64 and DOS and I can't find it among these pages.
I believe both C64 and DOS are betas shared by @QuarkTheAwesome a few pages back.
I might be wrong about C64, but check the latest nightly builds, the newest compiled cores should be there except for Dosbox.
And the other two menus do work (UI and XMB), simply be sure to get the assets package and put it in the correct directory.

Finally, emulation couldn't get any better on Wii U!
Thanks for the information btw.

In other news, dosbox seems to work as it should?, the limitations from the controls have nothing to do with the core itself but implementations in RA itself, @QuarkTheAwesome just you to know as it looks like a ready to go for github

It's actually already up and merged! Twinaphex tried to put it on the buildbot, but ran into problems with devkitPPC. I haven't heard back from him. @aliaspider maybe you could look into it in his abscence? I think the buildbot just needs a devkitPPC update.

How do you apply cheats? I'm looking to have all the fighters unlocked in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for mame2003. @ploggy @R0B0T0 @the_randomizer @Antonio Soler @ShadowOne333 @pedro702 ?
Never tested cheats, but try downloading cheats.dat and put it on system/mame. Tell us if it works.

Sorry, the correct path is system/mame2003. If you want samples (never tested also), put them in system/mame2003/samples.

Yeah, the tab window have the cheat option now, but it seems it's like a cheat engine where you search for values compare and stuff, but I'm looking for pre-made cheats. There's an option in mame2003 core that say load cheat file I'm guessing that's the one would help me... but it doesn't see the cheat.dat.

From the Libretro wiki (https://wiki.libretro.com/index.php?title=MAME_2003#Cheats):

Cheats
MAME 2003 supports the MAME cheat engine, allowing you to use the 'TAB' menu to enable various in-game cheats. To active these, there is a supplementary file that you need to transfer to your Pi, called `cheat.dat`. This file can be [downloaded from the MAME 2003 'metadata' repository](https://github.com/libretro/mame2003-libretro/tree/master/metadata). Place `cheat.dat` in: ``` libretro system dir/mame2003/ ``` Additionally, the 'enabled cheats' core option needs to be turned on. This option is is called: ``` mame2003-cheats = "enabled" ```
