So, Windows 10's source code has been leaked today, which will obviously make hacking Windows 10 computers much easier. However, this will also allow users to view and customize any part of the OS, allowing for more options when using Windows. About 32TB of private installation images has been leaked.

While open source OS is generally a nice thing to have, but it does open it to vulnerabilities, and that's not good news. I'm actually excited to hear what MS have to say about this.

Windows isn't open source and open source operating systems tend to have tons of fixes by the communities thus erasing much vulnerabilities.

I never said it is open source, and other open source software you talk about isn't used by governments or other infrastructures, that's why something like this isn't exactly good news.
