Thanks for the help, gpsp now works properly :D
One more question, I installed the psx cia, and also put a bios (scph5001, ntsc), but everytime I try to run a game crashes and my 3ds reboots, what I'm doing wrong? :)
I thought there were 3 BIOSes, not sure if you need all 3, though. Also, doesn't the game need to be in .iso format?

i installed NXengine for cave story but when the .exe file finishes loading i get te "An exception occourred" screen

I download Latest Nightly Builds, extract rar file and I need install only cias or I need copy too folder retroarch to sd?

In case I need copy folder retroarch is in root sd?

Thx in advance
You copy the retroarch folder to the root of your sd card. And for certain emulators you also needs BIOS files. If you need more help I'll try to get back to you.

I have bios for fb_alpha_neo_libretro
So you need the mednafen PCE bios which is called syscard3.pce. As for Neogeo, CPS1 and CPS2 you can just download the mame bios which includes the neogeo bios and extract it into the folder with your arcade roms. The mednafen PCE BIOS goes into sd card/retroarch/cores/system. For the BIOS you are missing just go to google and type emulator bios and click on the first link. Sorry I cant give you an exact URL as it is against the rules i believe.

I see and what is the name bios for Capcom Playsystem 1 emulator? bios need in rar file?

And bios from neo geo is in rar file too?
neogeo should be kept in zip format and the other mame bios should be kept in zip format and placed in the rom folder with your arcade games. The first link on google should take you to a website with a list ,download the mamebios one and extract it.

I have the bios

What format is roms for neo geo and CPS2? rar files or another format?
The games should be in zip format not rar. And you should not rename them. Do you know what parent roms are? If not I will try to explain

I can download games in zip not a problem but in my computer I have installed winrar
Leave the roms in zip format. Cut and paste them into your roms folder. So for arcade games you leave them in zip format and for console games like pc engine or snes you extract them.

Dynarec caused crashing problems in the GBA emulator, and didn't offer a meaningful performance improvement for the PSX emulator, which is now no longer part of the RetroArch package anyway. Were there even any other emulators that supported it?

Hi guys,

Having a very odd problem with Neo Geo emulator. Ron set is fine and tested on PC retroarch, works perfectly. Can't get the games to run more than 25fps?! I've got a new 3ds XL. Also having problems with SNES but Blargsnes seems to work fine so that's ok. Any ideas re the neo Geo issue??

Has anyone gotten PCSXReARMed 1.6.0 working? As soon as I boot the core and I have the right bioses, it crashes while loading.

The problem seems to be with emulator recompiling the code and trying to read it.
Its better if you use an older version, there is a link at page 294 that has a working version.

oh hey, i haven't updated retroarch since 1.3.6, has there been ANY kind of improvement since then? since there doesn't seem to be a changelog for the 3DS builds

i believe an even older version was more stable than 1.3.6
