Hacking DS Games for Testing

So, I bought a bunch of cheap DS games, and I have access to a 3ds with Boot9Strap. Does anyone have any 3ds projects that require writing to a nds cart that they would like to be tested? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for homebrew that could be written to the cart? Also, I heard a rumor that it may be possible to write ntrboothax to a standard cart; has anyone else heard this?

That will probably not happen, due to the fact that DS carts have ROM chips inside them. ROM stands for Read Only Memory; you can't write anything to it (it's called READ ONLY for a reason). I don't know who told you that rumor, but I highly doubt it's true...

Eh, it was only $2 for the lot.

That will probably not happen, due to the fact that DS carts have ROM chips inside them. ROM stands for Read Only Memory; you can't write anything to it (it's called READ ONLY for a reason). I don't know who told you that rumor, but I highly doubt it's true...

I can't remember where I saw it. I just recall that someone was speculating about Godmode9 having the ability to write to nds carts.

GodMode9 can dump game carts, and D9 can write to the AceKard2i but commercial games cannot be written to
