So a few days ago I downloaded the noLED plugin from Wololo and installed it into my Vita. It went well, until like sometime later when I put my Vita in sleep mode, and when I tried to wake it up, it won't turn on. It won't even go into safe mode when I hold PS+R+POWER. The LED doesn't even turn on when I try to charge it. I even tried removing the memory card, and it made an error sound but the screen didn't turn on at all. I still don't know how my Vita even bricked itself, especially since it did this a few times before, but those were only temporary bricks and turning off LiveArea refreshing seemed to fix those temporary bricks.

Personally, now I think my Vita is screwed up for real, and I don't know why because I've been taking attention while installing stuff in my Vita. If anyone can help me, please let me know.

Sorry for your device.

NoLed plugin clears the register bit responsible from turning the ps home button blue led. It hooks the function which sets the bit, and clears it in return to make it stay off. So it is only active when some app tries to enable the LED (for example sceschell when you wake up the Vita). This approach is much cleaner than creating a different thread and sending "disable the led" command every time. It is also open-source, https://github.com/rereprep/noled/ more info about the gpio registers is here. https://wiki.henkaku.xyz/vita/GPIO_Registers

I dont think this is related to NoLed plugin, but i would love to hear reports if other people are experiencing problems with the plugin.

HOLY! It's about time someone replied!
But I didn't even play around with the voltage at all, I just installed a few plugins and some games, took some photos and videos and that's all.
It's weird that it happened with noled as it's pretty safe from the 3ds variation of tuning LEDs. As reprep wrote check everything else.
I thought I broke my psp the other day all I needed is a recovery settings partition reset. Maybe your vita needs a good charge, then try to access recovery menu.

When I try to charge it the LED doesn't turn orange.
EDIT: Actually it does! I tried to turn the Vita on, and guess what? It told me that the battery was empty and I needed to charge it.
