Hi Guys

Just joined so hello to all!

I have the above and I am a little confused how I can mod this , it does not seem like I can mod it on 3.61 ? How can I downgrade to 3.60 to which I already have the mod files for.

Any help appreciated

No wait. I'm think both of you are confused

Are you talking about PSP or PS Vita? Because on the PSP every version is permanently hackable

The PSVITA only 3.60 is hackable

PSP or PS VITA. Because if it's indeed a PSP then you only need to update then use Infinity CFW to Permanently hack it

The PSVITA is the one not hackable on 3.61

Well, I'll try to explain a bit better just to be 100% sure what you want

If you get a Permanent CFW, you won't have to run an app everytime you turn on your PSP just so you can run pirated games or Emulators. But you are risking s but your PSP from a brick(where your PSP will essentially be a piece of brick, unusable)

If you get the temporary CFW, it's 100% safe, but every time you turn off your PSP, when you turn it on you have to run the CFW app just to run those pirated games or emulators.

Your choice

My recommendation, update your PSP to the latest, put Pro CFW 6.61 on your PSP Memory card and run CFW from there(temporary). Once you feel confident on updating to Permanent CFW then follow that guide

The temporary one sounds fine to me if there is a good tut to follow

Is 6.61 the latest and final f/w available now?

The PSP doesn't fully switch off unless you hold down the power for more than 5 seconds or you take the battery out/it dies, so PRO-C patch is almost like permanent patch and it takes very little effort to launch an program on the PSP to get back your CFW if needed.
