Hacking Does this have anything to do with the banwave?

my 2ds will show it's wi-fi status as "enabled" but there are no blue bars. The console only "connects" to the network when a task requiring wi-fi is started. (for example: going online on mk7, going to the eshop, starting freeshop, etc.)

This kinda sounds more like the wifi reciever in the 3ds may be botched or it may be having issues connecting with your router.

If you aren't getting the error code 002-0102, you aren't banned. It might just be something wrong with your wifi.

the routers fine, and the wifi is perfect when i'm online. It's like it disables it when it's not being actively used

i know i'm not banned, i am playing mk7 online right now
