i tried the method 2 and it didn't work

Yeah I did some research on method 2 and i have found some few more things out.
A)You have to do a systransfer to your banned 3ds
B) If you did a format then your movable seed will be the same as your local freind code seed b. (This can be fixed by digging around in old nand backups)
Also method 3 will proably be available tonight!

Good news everybody! I will proably be obtaining a new public seed tonight. So everybody will be able to get unbanned using method 3!

I asked this question on the previous page, but doesn't this mean literally thousands of 3DS consoles connecting to the Nintendo servers with the same "ID"? Surely that would lead to a fairly quick and easy mass ban lol. My exact question on the prior page was if you dump your own seed file from another 3DS and use it in your banned 3DS, can both consoles operate at once?

Yes that does mean that thousands of consoles are using the same "id" but this method has been around since november and usally most of the seeds last at least a month. Plus nintendo really dosnt give a crud. Yes they can from what I can tell nobody has been banned for using method 1 or 2.

Would you advise others to disable spotpass option to send information to Nintendo before giving out the seed? Maybe it'll help in preventing fast ban?

both tragic and fun memories. the tragic memories of me going online before 11/18 and fun memories of me playing moon before 11/18 and showing it off. the despair i felt when i finally got hit by the ban wave. ever since that day, i became a pirate.

Dunno but better be safe than sorry
To be honest I don't think that streetpass can cause those bans but who knows? Maybe Ninty sends info from our 3DS systems without our knowledge too?

o my n3ds got banned from online play and while it doesn't completely bother since I barely play online anyways I want to unban myself for convince sake. So before I do this I'd like to ask several questions.

1. Would unbanning my n3ds work with ANY hacked 3ds system including 2ds? (Not sure if the tutorial mentioned that)

2. I know there's a slight chance of my system bricking of I go through with this so I wanted to ask which method would be the safest and least risky?

3. Would my unbanned 3ds be affected in anyway if I go through with this?

4. If I were to unban my 3ds I understand that all eshop purchases will be deleted, is this completely true?

5. Me unbanning my 3ds doesn't give it immunity to future bans, so what are some things I can do to minimize the risk of this happening again? And if this was to happen again I imagine I can't use the same unbanned 3ds from before, right?

6. If I were to brick my 3ds can it be reversed using the nind and OTP I created from adding a CFW in the first place?

Deleted all traces of ill-legit copy, played online, was never banned. Left 3ds offline for the past 3 months. What would happen if I tried to boot my system up right now and connect online?

Important Information HOW TO (likely) AVOID THE BAN:
1. TURN OFF WIFI
2. Go to Friend List, click Settings in the corner of the screen, go to settings, and DISABLE Share Currently Playing Game.
3. Go to System Settings -> Internet Settings -> SpotPass -> Sending of System Information; turn it OFF.
Optionally, avoid running homebrew from, or installing it to, the Home Menu, as a CIA.
This does NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE BANNED. IT IS A SAFETY NET.

1. If you keep using a seed that is not banned, yes, it will work in all the systems. But more users... more risk to be banned. If you get banned, all the users of the seed will be banned.
2. The methods of the main post are not that risky but the second and the third one are the best to me.
3. Each console is independent... I dont know what do you mean.
4. I think this is false... eshop is not banned. The only thing that you do by unbanning yourself is getting online access for games again.

Yeah I can relate to that. Bragging to all my friends that I had pokemon moon 10 days early and having to answer all of their questions on the game then getting banned by nintendo leading to much pain and tears.

Can anyone answer whether or not the potential brick is reversible? I used the 3ds guide method to install Luma so I have arm9loaderhax.

Well I altered all record of my pre-release play. changed the dates so that maybe why i was not banned. maybe the title id and everything came up legit and Nintendo didn't give me a 2nd thought.

Yes. I would go to your Friends List and make sure you toggle the box allowing people to NOT see when you are online, because they can see what titles you are playing. Also turn off spotpass and do not let information be shared to Nintendo, I shouldn't be giving the advice because I got banned actually, but this is the safest you can get
