Quick survey for those that have been banned


There might be, what firmware are you on and do you have under settings>internet settings>SpotPass sending of system information turned on?

My banned console had sending of system info off, for months. It's not that.

possibly, but I would assume it's more of a combo of spotpass and 11.4 since my 11.2 is perfectly fine.

To be fair aren't you essentially completely offline on outdated firmware unless you use httpwn to bypass the firmware requirement?

Not in all cases. Going online in games works fine unless the game has access to friends list. If it does, then it checks for the latest version, and if it isn't installed, it throws an update nag.

Who got banned on their hacked 3ds pre 11.3 or 11.2 hacking? Maybe it's for newer FWs which is why nintendo couldnt ban beforehand?

Huh. So 11.4 only then? Is it realistic to assume if that's the case that the update paid close attention to apps ran and maybe had a blacklist of sorts to mark for future bans or something? I mean they marked steelhax's game to not run unless updated so I assume secret recording of certain "titles" isn't that far off?

One of my 3DSes got banned today. It has Fire Emblem echoes and Season pass DLC. I played Pokemon Moon online with the console yesterday. The other consoles aren't banned yet.

1) They can detected CFWs
2) It's a massive fuckup at Nintendo

Not possible since the freeshop server is using the eshop to download the title keys.

There should also be an option for Fbi qr code downloads. That uses basically the same thing freeshop does doesn't it?
