Button Test v2.0 - GUI Update

I have just added the GUI for button test. Everything works as it should:

I know this is off topic, but is there a program like this for GBA? I repair broken Gameboy micros and this would be helpful. Thanks.

Just test it with a game lol, I dont think a program like this for GBA exists, and even if it did, you would need a flash cart

Yeah, I do have an EZ Flash IV. I usually test with games but this would make it a little simpler.

VERSION 2.0 RELEASED!
Button Test v2.0 has been released!
Some screenshots:

v2.0:
  • Temporarily removed support for N3DS buttons.
  • Added GUI
  • smdh information works properly

Now, before you start telling me this is worthless because it doesn't do a whole lot of functions, I just want to make sure everybody knows that this is my first piece of homebrew I have created. shocker. Well, I guess I have made others but this is my only public release so far.

It is very, very simple. Based off of the devkitPro application template, this really is nothing special.

Anyways, here is what it does:

You press a button and it tells you the button you pressed and if it works or not.

This would have been very useful a month ago when I was making my bot lol

Just a little update, v2.1 will probably be out this afternoon. I am rewriting everything because the source (if you looked at it) was extremely difficult to read, even for me. I am also going to include new 3ds button testing in this as well (ZL, ZR, C-Stick) and touch-screen testing. Not accuracy, but just testing for the moment.

I'd like to apologize in the delay in updates. Due to recent events, I had to reinstall linux, move back into my parents home, and some other things. So, now I should be able to, once again rewrite the application.

Temporarily marking the repo as private so that I can push a few updates and make it look nicer. I hopefully will have a (small) update tonight. Still no New 3ds buttons yet, as I had to rewrite everything from scratch
