Well people thought 11.2 and 11.3 were game enders until SoundHax and udsploit proved that theory to be wrong. So just hang in there and don't do anymore updating until you've installed A9LH and Luma3DS. The devs always find a way it seems.
There's always SigHax + hardmod/DSiWareHax.

That's true but patience costs less than a hardmod. :P If (by the grace of the hacking gods) another K11 exploit comes along in the months to come they won't need a hardmod to install SigHax.

Nonetheless, your point is still a very good one because it's pretty much guaranteed as mine is not. ;)

I got Zelda Four Swords when they were giving it away free. So the DSiWareHax I used on 11.0 was free too. I don't think they'll ever give that away for free now. At least not on the 2/3DS.

They won't be giving it away and they took it of the eShop last year, so you can't buy it either. But you can download a copy and inject it into a legit DSiWare game downloaded from the eShop.

I'm about three versions behind. If I update to the newest system menu, am I going to lose the hacks I already have? I want to update Pokemon Moon, but not if I lose my hacks.
Is there a way to spoof the update through the homebrew launcher? I asked before but couldn't get a satisfactory answer....

If you have CFW you lose nothing by updating.

steelhax works :)
proof:
no im not trying to advertise my video its just digital proof

This post lies. Just updated to 11.4 and now Steelhax no longer works. video must be fake. Thanks troll. (I'm using N3DS)

Edit: after reviewing the video further, that's not even what the real steelhax menu looks like. FAKE

Just install the homebrew launcher cia, you don't need steelhax. I assume since you updated, you installed CFW while you were on a lower version?

I still have Ninjhax available. It's just annoying having to scan all those QR codes every update. With Steelhax I don't have to juggle game cards either.

I'm gonna ask a noob question. I have an O3DS XL and an O3DS both with CFW on 11.3. I have updated to nightly of everything I can and updated to latest of the rest, Luma and all from the guide. Is it safe to update to 11.4 and keep my CFW and if so do I need to do the 11.2 payload trick to keep my homebrew non userland/cia installer, or should I not update?

Yes. Updating or not is up to you. SigHax/B9S is out now.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this but just in case
