Probably that. Others work fine though.
Oh well, gonna redownload it and insert back Sailor Moon ROM.
Yes it's a bad rom I have tried all of the following Snes sailor Moon games and they work perfectly in snes9x

  • Sailor Moon
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S: Jougai Rantou!? Shuyaku Soudatsusen
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S Kurukkurin
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S: Kondo wa Puzzle de Oshiokiyo!
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S: Fuwa Fuwa Panic
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S: Zenin Sanka!! Shuyaku Soudatsusen
  • Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Fuwa Fuwa Panic 2
I think that is all the snes/super Famicom games if there is any I missed then I don't know if they work lol.

It's all very well in getting a load of donations in but has any dev actually expressed any interest in doing it yet?? Also if no dev is interested do donators get their money back ect like in six months time and nothing has been made will refunds be given then or is it a year or two years and so on there is a total lack of guidance on these maters. Not that it bothers me as I have previously stated my dislike of bounty programs lol just trying to clear up points for those who may donate in the future.

Problem is that there are not too many among us who can make a dynarec (I can't). Even less for a dead architecture like PPC.

Ps2, PS3 , psp , psvita , pstv , pc , android , so many other ways to play/emulate ps1 I can't see anyone wasting there time. Honestly good look with the bounty.

Exactly what I have been trying to tell people for ages in this thread but they seem to think someone will do it lol.

There's always this:

Sorry using the same logic why have retroarch WiiU version at all? after all there are already many devices that emulate SNES/GEN/NEOGEO.... perfectly.

I agree with you there are very small chances we'ill see a PSX dynarec for WiiU one day, but there are people who want that (hopefully).

Not only that, but people seem to be missing the point that having a dynarec for PPC architecture opens up the doors for not only the Wii U, but also a lot more consoles. Wii and GC are in there as well, and I believe even PS3 and X360. And that's just for consoles.

I know there are a lot of other devices which emulate PSX pretty well, even other consoles as well, but going by the logic that there are already many other options is not a valid point in this case.

The things you are mentioning are never going to happen. Period. It is at the bottom of the barrel for implementations, and since this hasn't been done on even any other console/platform is just won't here.

Search up OpenEmu if you want a great emulator with amazing gui I'm sure your kids will love. It's actually gorgeous, does every major emulator, is open source, and is completely free. It's got lot's of filters and native controller mapping too. Looks something like this I love it, and you'll never look to another emulator again. (not to mention it's 100% drag and drop roms, all the artwork and metadata is pulled automatically for you)

I have a very satisfactory Hyperspin set-up already. Hyperspin is a pain to get running correctly, but a beautiful and smooth emulation experience once it's properly configured. I've spent hundreds of hours setting it up to work with a number of scripts and cultivating HD vid clips/custom menus/etc. It was a passion project. Last I checked, OpenEMU is pretty limited in comparison, but it works if you aren't willing to install boot camp to your MBP.

The Wii U gamepad is unique. I can play it in bed. That's why I even mentioned anything. I appreciate the effort though.

I guess the real best option would end up being perfect sync screen sharing/bluetooth input with a PC. Then I'd really be set.

??? - But they're all dead consoles.... why bother with the work when you've already got a phone in your hand that can already do the job, or can pick up a cheap as chips Pi3 that'll be more customisable than any of those consoles ever will be? The only way anybody is gonna build a ppc dynarec is if they're a massive fan of the Wii U, and if that were the case work would've already begun on one, without any donation.. (personally if anyone had offered to donate for my work I'd have turned it down, remember this is a hobby for most of us)

Then why bother at all with any console if you are using the phone for everything?
I don't really care about emulation on the phone, the touch controls and small screen kill it for me, that's why I always prefer console emulation.
The main goal of RetroArch is portability. And thank God they don't follow the ideology of just focusing on one device or that wouldn't have gone far.

Hi everyone, I just arrived here from google, I write from Spain, I apologize for my bad English.
Thanks to your help and I can load my msx games on my WiiU, I am very happy. I have one more question, some games need to press F1 or f5, can I map a button on the pad to those keys? I do not know how to do it. Thanks again.

Which version of RetroArch are you using if I might ask? I believe version 1.5.0 has USB keyboard support, which would need to be used in the MSX core. Hope that helps.

All the more reason to rally as much support as possible from the users via bounties.;)

The PSP and 3DS ports, they use MIPS and ARM respectively, the former of which is kind of a dead architecture as well *shrug*. What's the harm in having one more architecture in the grand scheme of things? Sure PSP can natively play PSX, but Snes is meh (stuck with Snes9x 1.43, using the old Zsnes like audio core), Genesis is decent, Arcade is out of the question, N64 is only capable of running a handful of games full speed, I could go on, but I digress. Point is, it's not for us to decide what console is more "worthy" of running RA over another. The more devices that run it, the better, using touch controls for Snes games? No thank you.

Hi,
The version is 1.3.6, there is an option to use the usb keyboard, but I wonder if I could map the joypad keys f1 and f5, it would be great.
Thanks.
