I'm going to guess downgrading to 2.1 will be useless, because Nintendo it's patching a9lh with this hardware revision (and possibly sighax of they knew about it early enough)Since it's a 2DS, but it's in the NEW family, will it brick if sleeping on 2.1?

It looks less durable then the original 3ds, that's for sure. It looks like it would shatter if I drop it once.
The original ds could survive a 10 story drop. This looks like it'll fall apart if you touch it funny.
It patches sighax most likely and bundles with 11.4. it's mainly to alert about it's existence, as this is where many people get most of their info.
It may patch sighax, it may come with 11.4. Unless you have sources to back those up (Hell, even then), this belongs in the hardware forum, being hardware.
I made sure to say most likely, as i can't guarantee anything. Also again, many people don't check that forum often, so thick is a more mainstream alert.
But it's completely off topic for the forum, it has nothing to do with homebrew, or emulators. The whole point of having subforums is so the right information gets put in the right place, if people want to hear about homebrew, they go here, if they want hardware, they go to hardware, if they want info on CFW, they go to CFW. Otherwise, there's no point in having something other than just a generic "3DS Crap Here" subforum with everything in it.
