Are you able to use a USB device to play PS1 and PSP with a USB device? I know the vita mode will let you mount and use it for games but is PSP mode possible?

Oh yeah, I have Adrenaline on both my 32 gig drives. Works perfect. Was playing Resident Evil Survivor no issues on my pstv. Since it mounts the drive as memory card, it is treated the same as if you were on a vita or whatever.

At present, only if the USB is mounted as ux0. It would be nice to assign the PSP game and save directory to uma0, but that is a feature for a future release. TheFlow is taking a break from Vita development, but Adrenaline is now open source, so somebody will probably try to see if they can make it work.
How did you set it up? (On a side note: My PNY 32GB thumb drive doesn't mount at all in vita shell but my Sandisk 8BG will 0.o)
Just install Adrenaline directly on the pstv, mount it uma0, go to ux0 and I just copy and paste everything over to uma0. then mount uma0 to ux0 and boom. Put on whatever games you want via ftp and you should be good to go.
As far as why it won't recognize you 32gig one, I'm at a loss. Sorry. Maybe reformat it, though I'm sure you already have.

Working here, without issues, using a 64gb usb, and a 8gb usb, havent tested it with a 500gb hdd.
God, that sounds amazing. I'm tempted to try my 1tb external. So. MANY. GAMES!!
Well, My setup is:
PSTV
128GB USB Stick (This one https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/USB-Flas...UTF8&qid=1492548434&sr=1-6&keywords=usb+stick)
HOWEVER
I have to use:
Adrenaline for PSONE Stuff (still trying to find out why some of my rips fail - but PSN PSOne Classic shizzle works no probs)
Adrenaline for PSN PSP Stuff and some ISO files i have redumped
And as i naivily compressed all my UMD into .CSO files im using ARK to boot CSO files
If using a HDD i suggest one with a seperate power supply.....
Compared to my 64GB VITA Card the load speeds seem the same.
Adrenaline becomes VERY VERY slow when trying to access a very full GAME Folder (i.e 136 was overkill i think)

Well I for one haven't figured it out...
PSP bubble generator was C-12828 or whatever crashing.. now it will reboot but do nothing
So I said screw it and downloaded LocoRoco Midnight Carnival Demo
I finally figured out to copy tai folder from ux0 actual to USB root for when it is emulated as ux0 so Adrenaline easy installer would recognize it. Still no dice on install
Manual method attempts, try editing config.ini myself, try copy pasting it, demo still boots after restart.. no dice
