Error: Error getting tag data. Possibly not a NTAG215
↑what is mean?
maybe you first try with another free tag reader/info app to find out what type your tag is maybe its a NTAG216 or 213
so it seems you mobile phone is not correctly working with nfc/Tagmotype is NTAG215
so it seems you mobile phone is not correctly working with nfc/Tagmo
when you read this thread here you will see that there are more ppl with problems that their mobile phone cant write tags
here for galaxy s4 and s5 it works like a charm
maybe you try another phone in your family
Thanks.
I have a Sony Xperia...
Japanese phone is bad?
Yes they work
i only have samsung EU/international versions of my phones, maybe its a problem of the sony xperia but that can only answer someone who has one ;-)
Yes, it's this file here: https://github.com/HiddenRambler/Ta...m/hiddenramblings/tagmo/AmiiboDictionary.javaIs there a way to edit the TagID that shows up in Tagmo when loading a .bin file?
Thanks.
Stop moving your nfc tag so much. Move it VERY slowly. It is detecting the tag, by the time your phone beeps to let you know that the tag's been found you already moved it. Finding the tag and then writing to it takes a few seconds (5-6). The tag has to stop moving for that amount of time!2.3 i have the same error than bellow
I've tried the 2 first on my P8 lite, and the app says
Error while writing main data (stage1)
Java.io.IOExeption:Transceive failed
And i have only one tag, and another app says it's an empty ntag215

Yes, it's source code. The TagIDs that appear in the app are hard coded into the app's programming. If you wish to edit the TagIDs you would need to download all of the source code, edit that one file to what you want, then compile the source code into an APK file to then reinstall on your Android phone. The software the developer uses to compile it is Android Studio.Sorry,
Just went on to my computer and it's a source code. Looks like a .java file that needs to be compiled into an executable .jar?
Tried running a bunch of java -jar commands in prompt, but nothing is working. Hope you can give me a quick pointer. TIA.
I don't think there is a technical reason that it doesn't exist. Just no one has made it yet.So, is there some kind of technical reason there isn't/can't be an app for 3DS, or even better, Wii U that would write to blank NTAG215s?
I figure the capability is already there, and if we have control over the system, we could have it write whatever we needed it to, so why have to bother with a phone app (which not all phones support)?
Interestingly, there was a post made about this on Reddit and even a bounty offered.Nearly everyone who has amiibos has a 3DS/n3DS. The ability to write new tags on a 3DS would be a great benefit. I don't currently have a NFC enabled android phone and can't really afford the few alternatives right now. I have a n3DS just sitting here just asking to have NFC homebrew made for it.
