Has anyone here actually witnessed a cheater online in real life?
Seriously, the amount of hacked 3DS's (capable of injection/save editing) in the wild is so minuscule in the grand scheme of things, i would actually be very surprised that anybody has actually experienced an opponent cheating/received hacked pokemons.
Just throwing around some rough figures here: Consoles capable of being hacked are not rare, but they're also not common either, with the average-gamer-Joe keeping his console up to date to use online and play the latest game.
The tech savvy people who stayed on lower firmware to have hacks, let's say that only 80% actually play pokemon. So in that 80% of remaining hacked 3DS owners, lets say 50% of them have a conscience/anti-hacking ethos.
Now the number becomes very very small in the grand scheme of how many 3DS consoles have been sold and the number of Pokemon games purchased.
By no means am i presenting this argument as fact and i know i've pulled these figures out of my ass blah blah. It's just a theoretical situation that makes you think.
