I recently heard about SaltySD and I thought why not give it a try. I first set it up for a Ver. 1.1.6 copy of Smash 3DS on Luma3DS CFW Sys 11.3.0-36U (N3DSXL). All I begun with was a few BGM hacks (i.e. nus3banks) and put them in "\SaltySD\Smash\sound\bgm". I also generated cache for them using cachegen.py as explained in the Smash 3DS Complete Hacking Guide Thread. All went fine and my hacks ran smoothly. I was using an hourly build of Luma3DS so my SaltySD Code Binary was in "\Luma\Titles\0004000000EDF00\Code.bin". Just a few days ago I got a few texture hacks from the Smash 3DS Texture Hack Thread and put them in "\SaltySD\Smash\data\model\fighter\<Name of Character>\body". The folders I copied for each hack were c01 and h01 and they contained some files like "normal.bch" and "normal.mbn". Now for some reason only my BGM hacks will load but not the texture hacks. Am I doing something wrong? Or what's going on then? Please help. And by the way I updated my N3DSXL to Sys 11.4.0-37U right before I tried texture hacks.

That may be outdated for 1.1.6. Cause the code binaries are different.
I deleted the update data and found 1.1.4 online. Still nothing. I also found out that saves can't be loaded on a lower update for the game. I have the game as a digital copy and yes I set Smash Selector to CIA not cart

I'm using regular SaltySD, cause Smash Selector is broken on Sys 11.3 and above.

Which tutorial are you using? I never knew that!! Maybe that's my issue. But I did install a cia for smash that was something like 300 or 330 megabytes and it keeps saying turbo'd on the start screen of smash

Might have been Smash Selector. And yes Sys 11.3 broke it.

Shit. I think it didn't save my draft. Well I said what you installed may have been Smash Selector. But 11.3 broke it
Well 1.1.6 or even downgrading to 1.1.4 both said turbo'd on the start screen. I don't care that much anyways I guess. I'm on 11.4 anyways

First off you need the 1.1.6 code binaries from the Smash Selector Thread. Then if you're using regular Luma put the code in \Luma\Code_Sections\. If you're using hourly build, find your game's title id and rename the code with that id as code.bin. Copy the code.bin to \Luma\Titles\<Title ID>\. Then put your mods in \SaltySD\Smash\.

Found the mistake! I had to put the textures in "\SaltySD\Smash\model\fighter\<Name of Fighter>\body\" instead of"\SaltySD\Smash\data\model\fighter\<Name of Fighter>\body\"! My bad!

How did you get it to work???
I followed this guide and the video I posted earlier. Made sure they're 100 percent.
It's really starting to make me mad that it isn't working.

In that same thread, there's a link which says "download these". Click on that and download the file. Unzip it and you'll see 3 files. If you're using USA Smash, you'll need 0004000000EDF00.bin. If you're using the normal Luma3DS build, then you need to put this file in Luma\Code_Sections (create the folder if it doesn't exist). If you're using an hourly Luma3DS build, then rename the file to code.bin and put it in Luma\Titles\0004000000EDF00\. Now put your mods in SaltySD\Smash. Now launch Smash 3DS the regular way from the Home Menu. It should load all of your mods.

So you're talking about the codes?? I transferred the codes to the codes folder in luma
