Okay, so here is the result of some experimentation that is unfortunately limited to cemu since I don't have a Wii U.

For some reason perhaps because the language is not supported but using this current method to add English text to the Japanese game will crash cemu, it's probably a cemu problem but since no one has tried it on the Wii U, I don't know if this will happen on the console as well. Using the old method or just loading up the Japanese game without any changes will play normally so there definitely is something incompatible here.

I'm sure it is possible to undub the game, we just haven't found it yet.

I tried it, but the game crashes (in fact, the wii u freezes after the splash screen and the little music) but i see there is a font file, maybe we have to transfer it as well ?

Yeah, try renaming the font files from both the update and the main game to what they are in the JP version, before copying them over.

Tried copying over the font file and no success, still crashes for me.

Seems like our only option is modifying the english version of the game since the Japanese version doesn't work when re-inserting english into it.

It's strange though, the code folder is exactly the same. I'll look into this more, but I don't have many ideas.

There isn't something (like the method used for the Bootup_EU**.pack) to do first with the font file ?

Nope, I don't think so. I've opened it and there's no file with a region code (JPja, USen etc.) inside. All the files in the US font are in the JP one, but they're much bigger and the JP has a few extra files as well.

Managed to undub the champion's voices. Woohoo!

There's that TitleBG_USen.pack (replace USen with your language) in /content/Pack. I took the file of the language I wanted (in my case japanese - so the file's name TitleBG_Jpjp.pack) and I unpacked it using uwizard.
Then there's a folder - Jpjp - inside the extracted pack. I renamed it to the original game's language (in my case EUde) and repacked it.
Uploaded it and boom - champion's voices undubed.

But there are still some npc voices that are still not undubed. Looking into that when I have time.

These are the voices that play when a champion's item is used, right? If so, that's great. But I have no idea where those other voices might be though.

Does this work with the sdcafiine method ?

This does not work for me. I took TitleGB_JPja.pack, unpacked it, changed JPja folder name to EUeu, repacked it and changed the name to TitleBG_EUen.pack, then I uploaded it to the Wii U. When I start the game, it gets to the main screen and freezes.

It works for me, did you repacked it with the ESARCP.py ?

Repack it with Sarcpack.py found on first page and not with UWizard.

It should be EUen, not EUeu. And did you check if your game worked before?

It is named EUen, I made a typo here, and the game was working before. The thing is, when I restarted the FTP client to check if the file was good, it actually had a different size (352kb instead of 348kb). I think the WiiU replaces the file with another one or something, I'm not sure what's happening.

Try to reupload it and overwrite the old file.

The game has a filelist but it shouldn't really notice that a file has been overwritten as long as it has the same name. Do you have the newest update installed? I haven't, so maybe the update added a new file, just look in the update folder. But even then it shouldn't crash.

It still freezes after multiple replaces of that file, really odd. I have the lastest update, and the TitleBG_EUeu.pack from the update is literally the same as the one from the game, it wasn't changed.

Looks like my game is not working anymore, even after I replaced the file back with the original one, it still freezes. I have some questions though, on the first page it says there should be a game folder (storage_usb/title/00050000/101C9*00), and an update folder (storage_usb/title/0005000e/101C9*00), however my folders look quite differently:

For the game I have: storage_usb\usr\title\0005000e\101c9500\content\Pack\TitleBG_EUen.pack
For the update (I assume this is it): storage_usb\usr\title\0005000c\101c9500\content (and in the content folder there are 2 folders, 0010 and 0011, so no more Pack or any other thing)

I'm quite clueless to be honest, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

You should have the following folders in "content" : Actor, Effect, Event, Font, Game, Map, Model, NavMesh, Pack, Physics, Sound, System, Terrain, UI and Voice. If not, then re-install the update, it could be this causing the crashes.
