Gaming Unreadable text

Hey guys, I don't know where to put this since I can't post a question in the "Ask" section but basically some of my games have this sort of text and I don't know what's wrong with it lol. What Game is this? Was it a CIA you installed or did you download the game from NUS? A bit more info would help.

Since it's a new 3ds try to disable the clock + cpu option (that option glitched my Colors! 3D and Super Pokemon Rumble games)

It's Mario Sports Superstars, but it also happens with Super Smash Bros. Rune Factory and I forgot one more game. It was downloaded using freeshop.

Mario Sports Superstars but also happens with other games, it was downloaded using freeshop and nope US, I tried downloading the other region but it was still the same. And no, there were no errors during installation

Ahh, yes it does run on Luma + A9LH, it was already disabled when I checked :/

I'm so sorry for the doublepost/necro bump but I have noticed that this missing text doesn't only occur in games but also in the UI and streetpass.

You can notice that the symbols are missing this could probably solve the text problems in the games below?

I made a thread for this and tried to look for answers but I never got any. If you look at the following images (inside the links) the text are unreadable or
isn't there at all. While not all games are not like this for me, it's still pretty irritating and might happen on future games?

The games are Rune Factory 4 and Super Smash Bros. This also happened to some sports in Mario Superstars such as Tennis and Golf. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Nobody seems to know why it would be really great if someone could help.

Did you install a custom font? If so, it's missing the custom symbols used by the 3DS OS, which are located in the Unicode Private Use Area.

If you know what to look for, you can dump the Home Menu CIA and disassemble it. Otherwise, you can try reinstalling the Home Menu from the CDN. (I think FBI has an option to redownload a title; not entirely positive.)

The Home Menu title ID is:

• USA: 00040030 00008F02
• EUR: 00040030 00009802
• JPN: 00040030 00008202

EDIT: See @Ryccardo's post below for the Font title IDs. That's probably what you actually need to reinstall.

I have no idea on how to dump files and/or how CDN work, so CDN is something like freeshop/ciangel? I'm sorry for asking too many questions, I'm not really used to this.

I was trying to find the Font title but couldn't find it; the only things I could find were specifically for Home Menu. (I guess I didn't search hard enough :V)

I don't know about that version of 3DNUS (I use the original by "ground") but you enter a titleid (without the "-") in the middle in the large textbox, plus a title version (without the "v") in the small box
